Agreed. It was a winnable fight and it's not like he's been fighting all that much recently anyway. What is he going to do now? As Katt Williams would say, it's ok I'll wait...

That sucks, this was one of the "under the radar" fights I was really looking forward too.

Ward vs Green just doesn't tickle me pickle.

Lol...what fight did Green pull out of?

Are you talking about the ESPN2 vs. TBA in Feb '08?

Or are you talking about the Pavlik fight that he supposedly pulled out of (but in reality HBO didn't approve him)?

Anyway, I don't understand this move by Bika.

It would have been better if the replacement for Taylor had been determined by a fight between decent smw like Green and Bika, but I don't think the eliminator would have changed anything in the way that Green was the likely winner. Bika is too reckless, pure slugger, whereas Green is a boxer-puncher. Anyway, the arrival of Green is good for the tournament.

As Nelson has said, it is somewhat strange to say the problems are on Bika's end without disclosing what the problems are.....

Psh, good for the tournament. I wouldnt be surprised if he drops out of this tournament after one round. Andre Ward is going to put a beating on him.
Its really too bad Jermain Taylor isnt around anymore, a few losses or not he was a better fighter than Green.

I guess it stands to reason that Bika probably got a complete bull**** offer.

Think about it. If Green gets into the Super 6 by Bika backing out just the same as if he beat him then it makes sense he would make a **** offer. That's a real position of power.

They should have given Taylors spot to Bika, Green doesnt deserve it. At least make him rematch Miranda for the spot if Bikas out. Or what about Bute!

I guess I must be the only one happy about this. Never been a fan of Bika and don't like watching his awkward style.

I can't understand why Bika didn't go ahead with this fight.

There must be more to it than what is being said, we need to hear from Bika's camp.
