Clottey is very very good fighter. Although, there is little to no meaning to this fight, especially after he just beat Cotto, who beat Clottey.
I'll be looking forward to the May-Mosley fight if it does happen.

This type of event you have to do a press tour in Cali, Nevada, Texas, New York, Europe...
And, Also Freddie Roach said he need it more time to prepare for Floyd if you remember. He said he need it like 10-12 weeks instead of the usual 8 weeks...
So I think they threw out the 8mil hoping the Floyd blink first it didn't happen... Then when Floyd threw out drug testing they were cool with it... But, then I think they realized it was just too soon. So then they changed there mind and said no we want a cutoff date... But, I just think they miscalculated on how bad Pac would look... I think Schafer also didn't want the fight to happen so early... I think that is why they went to the media first to get Arum to lose his nerve. And, they succeeded... And, that is how everything just blew up.
This people are smart businessman, they going to do whatever it takes to get more money... They don't give a fuck what us fans believe... All they care about is there pocket. And, now look at all the hype they got with all this. So if Floyd and Pac win later this year easy 3mil PPV buys. Easily...
But, what did surprise me with all this is how they are ******** right... Both, Pac and Floyd are not in easy fights...
TOO MUCH TO DO AND NOT ENOUGH TIME TO DO IT.
So, it makes sense to let controversy bring it down now - in order to do it correctly in the near future.

GBP is pushing the fight to be in theaters, Malls, closed circuit plus the PPV. And there was just too much to do in 8 - 10 weeks.

I think Team Pacquiao realise that the March date was too early for them and thats why the find a way out of the fight, I mean the 10 million per pound over 147 was there way out but that was debunked when Team Mayweather accept it.
I dont mind waiting till september for the fight anyway, It would give both fighters more time to prepare and more time to promote the fight.
