Comments Thread For: Helenius vs Brewster, Oquendo vs. Whitaker Bouts Set

Robert Helenius (10-0, 6 KOs) is facing the “biggest challenge” of his life when he takes on former WBO Heavyweight Champion Lamon Brewster in Neubrandenburg, Germany on January 30. Coming off a spectacular third-round TKO victory over Taras *****ko, the “Nordic Nightmare” is looking for the 11th victory in as many bouts. “I am excited to fight one of the biggest names in boxing at this early stage of my career,” Helenius said. “I have big plans and in order to accomplish them, I have to keep progressing. A victory over Brewster would be a giant stride into the right direction.” [Click Here To Read More]

I like Helenius, he's entertaining and gets better with every fight.

This is another tough fight for him considering his inexperience, but I think he'll win. IMO *****ko is probably a better boxer than Brewster so based upon recent form Helenius takes it.

Joe, you should buy a computer so you can download and watch fights.

You can get a good one nowadays for under $1000, and even buy something brand new for $600. They've come down in price the past few years.

Bob Helenius is starting to look like a promising young hw. He's fighting good competition early on in his career and has an entertaining style as well. We'll see good/bad he is when he faces the always dangerous Lamon Brewster...

You can find and download any fight that's been televised in Europe, and even many that were not televised.

I thought Echols had hung them up by now. Good luck to the Aussie boys, funny how the Soliman fight can be viewed as a title fight in any form.

I've seen Helenius before, and he looked pretty good. I haven't seen enough to make a good judgment though.

I do find it interesting how you see a lot of American HWs fighting out of Germany more nowadays. I'd imagine the money is much better. I don't blame them either, if America isn't where the HW scene is, why fight there?
