Stop counting your chickens until Chicken Floyd gets into the ring with fellow-PED user Mosley. IF it happens, it will only be a GBP-choreographed win-win farce. It will either be a draw or Floyd wins but will give Shane another chance to make the kind of money he has never made before (and GBP gets another chance to fleece idiots who love to watch boring Mayweather bouts).
Seriously i think mayweather is a great fighter, very skilled, probably the most technically gifted boxer of this era.. But no one should be awarding him any medals for bravery even if he fights mosley.

          Why?

Cuz he's supposed to fight mosley! Just like what chris rock said, some people "love getting credit for stuff theyre SUPPOSED to do! 'i take care of my kids' i dont do drugs' WHAT YOU WANT? A COOKIE?!"

            Mayweather vs. Mosley

This match-up should be called as "The Battle of the Cheaters" to be promoted by Oscar "Darth Vader" dela Hoya.

Rationale: Isn't it that FLOYD MAYWEATHER, JR. cheat JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ in scales? Isn't it that SHANE (or is it SHAME) MOSLEY cheat and admitted that that he takes enhancing drugs in the BALCO scandals. Isn't
that OSCAR "Darth Vader" DELA HOYA" is a cheat?

If ever I needed to be reminded that Teddy Atlas knows very little about boxing, I was reminded of that pertinent fact in the above article. Apart from "moidering" the "King's English" every time he appears on TV, he adds very little that a) we don't already know, and b) even if we don't lingo. know it, the chances are that Teddy doesn't either. Yet he is allowed to bluster his way through an excruciating "yap" period, when we'd much rather hear from someone who not only actually knows what he's talking about, but who can impart it in recognisable lingo.

In the interview above, he talks about Mosley as a lightweight as being a good solide fighter, when in fact he was absolutely at his blazing, brilliant best, and then, it seems that (according to Teddy) at the very tail end of his welterweight career, he's "terrific" when in fact he's well past his best, and pushing 40.

Then Mannycomplicates an already muddied situation, by averring that Mosley is going to break down crying because he's always been on the outside, looking in, that he has never had a chance to get into a big attractive extravaganzas etc.etc.etc.

In actual fact Mosley was in at least 2, which were against Oscar deLa Golden Balls, the biggest fights available to anyone, and with anyone, alive just then (except maybe Mike Tyson, who was already past it).

What I'm trying to say, in case you don't know, is that any reasonably informed fight fan knows as much as Teddy, at least as much as Teddy shows us he knows.........

If Mayweather actually takes the Mosley fight, then we can be sure that he knows incontrovertably that he has the beating of Mosley. Because he never takes a chance, and what, to US, might seem "a chance" is a "slam-dunk" to Mayweather.

The money, the ring size, the gloves, ... everything was already a done deal with Pacquiao, and all of a sudden he wanted Olympic-style drug testing.
Uh, as someone already mentioned, Floyd asked for random blood testing from Day 1.

Educate yourself a little next time before saying something silly.

Mosley has fought more rds in the last 2 or 3 years in actual matches than Floyd has.....so technically Floyd has been more inactive.....u *******s kill me.....the fight is not even finalised and you are already trying to discredit mosley as an opponent, when last week he was the man @ 147 that floyd would never fight......u may aswell wait until this is 100% before you start talking trash.......

That's why I take a lot of posts with a grain of salt because
There is more hate on here for Floyd then actual facts and
                    reasoning.

I think the thing that hurts Manny wins to a lot fans in
the sport is the fact that Roach down plays them before Manny
fights them. Like for instance, Roach said Oscar couldn't pull the
trigger, Hatton would get knocked out in 2 rounds, Cotto wasn't
the same fighter after Margarito AND now Clottey is too slow for
Pac. So in actuality, Roach made Manny look like his opponents
were cherry picked. The only opponent Roach said was a hard
fight for Manny was Floyd and guess what? That fight didn't
                      happen.
People need to look and think outside the box instead of
                      with their personal feelings.
