I mean, you could say Clottey would get more credit because he's not as good as Mosley is... But I voted just with Mayweather being a better scalp than Pacquiao in mind.

Well let's all stop what we're doing and think like boxing fans for a sec and not like Floyd/Pacquiao stans.

Manny Pacquiao is undefeated in his last 11 fights, that means he is in a 11 fight win streak dating back from what? I don't know. The 11 fight win streak stretches out from 130 to 147. 11-0 with 7 KO correct me if i'm wrong because I can't use Boxrec right now my internet is acting up. That's 11-0 in 5 weight classes. That's pretty impressive if you ask me from an unbiased pov. 3 of those 11 wins have been against 140-147 pounders, tough one's at that. A Clottey win over Pacquiao IS highly impressive imo. It should mean a lot to Clottey and he should get full props.

Floyd Mayweather is undefeated in 40 fights, he has never been beaten. Mayweather has a 40 fight win streak and has never lost. He dominated 130 like nothing, making top 5 P4P fighters look like amateurs and Floyd is probably one of the top 5 best ever SFW's in history. He beat the lineal champ at 135 TWICE. He was champion at 140. Beat the Lineal and former Lineal champs at 147. He went up to 154 and won his only fight to win the WBC 154 title. At 32 years old, with 40-0, he's still in his prime. A Mosley win over Mayweather would be so great, that, that can put Mosley in ATG talks. Especially if he goes after Pacquiao right after a win over Mayweather.

Both should get a lot of props.

I don't think he's at his best at this weight... he found a way to still win fights and in an impressive manner... but he is not that guy with the terror punch from 130 who simply over powers you... he does it smart... if he gets beat at 147 it won't be because of skill... it will be because of power and strength because 147 is pretty much ceiling for him

I see boxing as an contest of skill... but if you are in a weight class where you can't compete because of physical issues... I have my problems with it... I think the Clottey fight will show if he is really a Welter... because Clottey is a big physical welter... Cotto IMO never was a big welter... Mosley, Margarito, Clottey... these are big welters who doesn't get pushed around...

I also think on two occasions he got hurt by a one punch of Cotto... I think 147 is pretty hard for him... we will see against Clottey.. CLottey will be there for 12 rounds and has some skill as well... hopefully he gets his head into the fight and this one could be better then most folks think
If Cotto didnt get on his bike then Pac wouldve stopped him in 6. He has mad power at that weight. I mean, Cotto just beat Clottey and Pac killed him. I dont beleive in the trinagle theory **** at all but Im just saying that he can clearly handle himself at WW and its not just all skill. He's physically ****ing these guys up. Even Hatton. It wasnt WW but most thought Hatton was the biggest, strongest, toughest guy at 140 and Pac made him look like a little boy physically. He seemed much more poweful and forceful

old past prime mosley is still better than prime floyd so no surprise when mosley beats him.

clottey is the underdog againsts pac even if he is a big challenge himself

I think Clottey has the tougher task ahead of him, but I think Mosley would get more props from the mainstream for being the first man to take Mayweather's 0.

Based off this it sound like you think Floyd and Manny are equals. If so, you can't say the same about Clottey and Mosley so shouldn't Clottey get more credit for his win seeing as how SSM is superior to him?

I think if Clottey won it was because he is a big guy and got lucky , he cant win on points so must KO Pac to win , Clottey wins its a lucky shot .

If Shane wins its was because he is a great and beat one of the greatest defensive fighters ever , Shane can win on skill and also on power so I say Shane gets the bigger props its just a bigger fight between 2 great fighters instead of one .
