yea thats true. I think cotto has faced the best guys at welter though. the margarito he fought was totally different from the one shane fought. pac obviously could be the toughest of any of those names, clottey and mosley. Margs resume is pretty damn good too with the addition of pwill. i would rather see floyd cotto because i think it would be a more exciting fight but floyd shane should be pretty good as long as it's not to technical and slow.

no he's scared. that's why he turned down 8m to fight mags years ago, never fought cotto because he was from puerto rico, used drug testing as a way to get out of pac and didn't fight mosley (until maybe now) because mosley didn't fight him like 10yrs ago. yea the oscar floyd fought was bigger and better than the one that manny fought but he was still shot and way past his prime. steve forbes? anyways that was a tough fight for floyd and he only won by SD and in floyd's own words "a SD isn't really a loss". i'll give him more credit after the mosley fight takes place if it does and he wins. If it doesn't happen or he loses we will know that I was right.

if floyd fights mosley and wins.... he goes down as one of the greatest to ever lace up... u can not take that from him.... he is easily in the same breath as leonard, ali, and robinson.... if he goes on to fight pac and wins then there is no question that he is the greatest fighter we have ever seen... imo

Now that Mosley has confirmed he will do all the drug testing Mayweather requested from Pacquiao, we will find out what Floyd is really made of? Is he a coward or a true fighter! fitzsimmons must love the taste of floyds ball sweat. anyway's mosley , mayweather wont be nearly as good as a fight as pac clottey, because lets be honest, it will be a boring technical fight, i could be wrong but that it the most likely outcome, especially if floyd wins. also manny is and should be ranked atleast #2 if not #1 at WW, and clottey should be #3-5 . Floyd really shouldn't be a ranked WW since he hasn't fought a real one in a long time. and Mosley should be 1 or 2, though the only reason he gets that is because of his ko over margarito, which had enough controversy (plaster of paris) not to mention i personally thought margs looked like **** before the bell even rang.not to discredit shane but i think he has been getting his tires pumped a little too hard for that win. and people will say manny fought a weight drained cotto, but cotto looked really good before manny started beating up on him, and miguel himself never once complained about the weight after the fight. That same cotto outboxed mosley. I think its close in terms of which fight would be the 2 better WW's but there is no question which fight will be more entertaining. and people lets not get ahead of ourselves here i wont believe the fight is happening until it's signed. For boxing's sake, lets hope it does.

I would say Floyd is defintelly up in the same category as leonard and duran, but for him to be in the same class as ray robinson he must beat pavlik or the middleweight champion at the time, then there is no question, historically it's sugar ray robinson and floyd mayweather right at the top
