ha. i agree richardson is a very good trainer and i think he is good for mosley but cotto would still beat him with richardson. they had a good game plan for an awful margarito that looked like he had nothing in the tank. mosley doesn't have the stamina to box with the best guys in the division anymore and richardson will try to use crafty tricks like grabbing and clinching after exchanges like he did in the mars fight. if floyd handles his power which is a big if he should win this one on cards. plus mosley is looking at a 14 to 16 month layoff which at his age is just too much.

Floyd has been in the game too long to be "scared" of anyone. He's fought big hitters in the past, but everyone knows by now that his defense has allowed him to hit his opponent while remaining unscathed and that's what his detractors are peeved about.

He fought a much heavier and better version of Oscar than the one Manny faced. Let's not forget that Freddie was in Oscar's corner in that fight -- that Shane was hired to prepare Oscar -- and that Oscar availed himself of Floyd Sr.'s services for several fights before facing Floyd.

GBP was singing the praises of Floyd being the best in the game after Floyd
      manhandled Ricky Hatton.

So the "scared" moniker is a tired word already even for any fighter who jumps in the ring to knock the other guy's block off.

Will they be doing the Olympic drug tests? In fact, to help clean the spot up all GBP boxers should take Olympic drug tests. They could set the example for the rest of the boxing world to follow.

There's a thread about that floating around here somewhere.

Ellerbe confirms that every opponent Floyd faces will have to go through it.

Agreed. I think you will find very few fighters have genuine fear of another. They may be smart enough to know it will be a hard fight or one they can't win.....but very few fighters are genuinely afraid of another boxer. The last 2 boxers who fighters were scared to death of i can think of is tyson and foreman. Fighters feared for their lives fighting those 2 guys.

sorry *****s your boy floydie would never ever fight mosley. he is so scared of sugar shane. floydie can always find a way to avoid ssm. hes not even thinking of fighting shane. fraud/shane fight was just the product of schaefer's imagination. no matter how hard he try making this fight to happen, it wont happen. as far as fraud is concern hed rather fight paula malignaggy

Yes. The word is Mosley has already agreed to random style testing.

no he's scared. that's why he turned down 8m to fight mags years ago, never fought cotto because he was from puerto rico, used drug testing as a way to get out of pac and didn't fight mosley (until maybe now) because mosley didn't fight him like 10yrs ago. yea the oscar floyd fought was bigger and better than the one that manny fought but he was still shot and way past his prime. steve forbes? anyways that was a tough fight for floyd and he only won by SD and in floyd's own words "a SD isn't really a loss". i'll give him more credit after the mosley fight takes place if it does and he wins. If it doesn't happen or he loses we will know that I was right.

Mosley vs Gayweather will NOT happen...
Floydie, looked for back-up when Mosley came into his face after the JMM fight... hahahaha!
How many posse that he has anyway? The most maybe 15?
Dang! That's not gonna help him... hahahahahaha!

Bottom line is that in terms of resume SSM is the best fighter at welter:

                      Vernon Forrest (twice)
                      Winky Wright (twice)
                      ODLH (twice)
                      Margarito
                      Vargas

Was going to fight Berto and now will hopefully fight Floyd. Also issued a challenge to Pac....said he would come down to 140 if they were serious......so right now SSM is the man in terms of best resume.
