More like they can lose money on a Pac-Clottey PPV. Trust me when I tell you Pac Clottey will be an independent Top Rank production.

it would be one of the greatest nights in boxing if these 2 shows go head to head... but I"m sure HBO would want to milk each PPV and so Shane vs. Floyd would happen in May.

I dont wan't those fights to take place on the same night. If Mosely-mayweather did a double header that would be sick but not if it was on March 13. I want to see all them fight not have to pick which ones to watch.

You guys aren't listening, HBO would not have them fighting each other on March 13, they would just have them fight on the same card. HBO would want time to prepare for May-Mosley PPV, they were geared for May-Pac and would want to schedule May-Mosley later in the year. But there is no way they wouldn't want to drum up interest in March by having both guys appear in the ring.

Holy **** this thread is tells quite the story about the intelligence level in NSB. Reading is fundamental kids...

It's an interesting idea, but I'd much prefer SSM/Floyd go sometime around May and ideally Berto gets the winner of either this one of Pac/Clottey somewhere down the line.

If May-Mosley happens on March 13.....it will definitely trounce the Pac-Clottey fight.

It hasn't been confirmed yet, i can see Floyd wanting to push on with the March 13 knowing that his fight would sell well and would easily outsell Pac-Clottey. He went head 2 head with a UFC PPV when he fought Marquez didn't he?

Blame Bob Arum for his lack of vision, and putting HBO in a position where they have to choose. March 13 was Floyd's HBO date not Pac's, Arum clearly wanted to upstage Mayweather with his Dallas event, he could of chose the next weekend but he's a selfish old man. HBO could easily sign Floyd and Shane to some guaranteed money vs lesser opponents on free HBO, and HBO subscribers will be very happy. Happy enough to not watch the independent Pac PPV at all.

even if they sell 500K, they would still make more money than they would putting on a free show.
