Are you guys insane? No way this fight happeneds on March 13th. What kind of sense would that make? Either put it on May 1st or bump the Hopkins fight to May 1st and let Floyd-Mosley take the April date. I just dont think it makes any sense at all to lose money fighting at the same time as Pac. Thats why I think there was talk of a guy lke Alvarez. This is a super fight. There is the 3 headed monster of Floyd, Pac, and Mosley. Mosley isnt quite on that level but he's the next best thing in terms of super fight so why cut all that money by doing it the same day and doing it so soon? I cant see it. Go April or May 1stComment

I doubt they would put out a Floyd fight for free. Also, putting on a fight the same night as Pac/Clottey is a bad move. You have to remember that alot of Floyd haters pay for his fights just to see him lose. Alot of the them are Pac fans, so he will be cancelling out those buys. This is the same reason why big blockbuster movies try not to schedule a premier on the same day. He's better off taking a later date, this will guarantee that you have the full attention of all boxing fans. Mayweather/Mosley will be his second biggest money fight and it will beat Pac/Clottey.Comment

You guys are misreading the point of the thread. I speak of a Mosley-Mayweather doubleheader, both of these guys fighting on the same card against tune up level opponents. The purpose, to draw up interest for a PPV later this year.
What I'm saying is that if they fight tune ups on free HBO, that would, imo, attract a bigger audience than a Pac-Clottey fight. Now, thing is, who cares if it does or dont. All I know is that Floyd has a March 13 date and under the right circumstances, he should take itComment
