I dunno, maybe he just likes a good scrap

It would be an inspiring feat and an epic title run but it is alot to ask of poor Tomasz.

Adamek, Valuev.......................way behind in 3rd choice is Thompson
Thompson isn't a world beater, but he always trains hard and never lays down for anyone. And his size and pressure will ensure that Vitali will have to work for the win. Seems like a pretty decent stay busy fight to me.

Valuev... eh, I just feel sort of uncomfortable about that one. I'm no fan of the bloke, as I said before, but I don't want to see him get seriously hurt in a fight he has very little chance of winning. Vitali would smash his teeth in.

As for Adamek, he's just way too small, and a bad beating could ruin him. This guy really has a chance to inject some excitement in the division, but he needs to be matched right. That means smaller heavyweights whom he has a chance to beat: Haye, Chambers, Povetkin, Boytsov.

Besides Haye, he would be one of the only ones to actually put up a fight (he is rather small for the HW division tho)

Yeah, he'd put up a fight. I'm not doubting that. I just think he'd get badly beaten down in career-destroying fashion, and never be the same again. Given the choice between one decent HW scrap and three or four, I'd choose the latter.

Klitschko's promote Ustinov though so i don't see it happening, although i'd love to see that fight. Ustinov is made from the same mold as Vitali in terms of his toughness.

Here's Ustinov and Vitali together in Austria
