      5. Toney
      6. Quezada
      7. Peter - already beat him
      8. Boytsov
      9. Pianeta
      10. Rossy
      11. Adamek
      12. Banks - Klitschkos promote him
      13. Sosnowski - fighting Harrison
      14. JC Gomez - already beat him
      15. Thompson
      16. Aguilera

Available opponents in bold. Toney is too old and small, and Thompson is unlikely. Adamek is too small and Aguilera is too inexperienced.

That leaves Valuev, Boytsov, Quezada, Pianeta, and Rossy.
pianeta hell no this dude is awful! they never let boytsov fight vitali!
      So valuev or thompson!

I see thompson causing lots of trouble to Vitaly and making him look bad in the early rounds.

Come on, Valuev isn't going to be throwing mad bombs like Sanders did, and he doesn't possess the speed or one-hit power to make the fight interesting. About the only good thing I can see about that fight is if Vitali brutalises Valuev and knocks him out (very likely) then it might make Haye and his irritating fans shut up for about five minutes (very unlikely).

Actually, now that I think about it, Thompson seems like a good option. He's tall, tough, fairly skilled and an aggressive come-forward fighter. At the same time he doesn't possess outstanding power or speed. He's beatable. From a viewer's perspective this could heat up to be a pretty entertaining and competitive matchup. Or at the very least it won't be a one-sided drubbing.

Well neither do I. But I'd rather see a competitive matchup than a massacre.
