i wouldn't say most or majority, but i get your point and I agree. But manny has to fight for that as well. a lot of has some factual criticism of him fighting fighters past prime, skipping the true champion of the division, fighting weight drained fighters, and 1 dimensional or the same style of fighter over and over again!Floyd's already a hall of famer and an all time great.
But the fact is, Pacquiao is generally rated above Floyd by the majority of the boxing community. you can call it opinion, you can call it inaccurate, but thats a FACT. So if there is anything Floyd has to fight fore, its to be considered this generation's best fighter because that would place him above Pacquiao and he certainly wont do that fighting Nate Campbell.
manny has to agree to get in the ring to see who is that fighter of this decade. Because i damn sho ain't crowning him and only recently has been impressed by him.
and truth be told, u shouldn't crown him either until he fights the fighter who has been dominated all of thos decade and then some!Comment

No , it is not that. His standards are byond reproach. he is held to a standard no other fighter is. i guess that is the gift and curse of his success and skills. in a way it is a compliment to his achievement and greatness becuase no other fighter including Pacquiao is held to that same standard!since Allucard queefed on your behalf and demanded some kind of feedback to fuel an 'argument' (his words)
PAC could have retired immediately after DLH and his legacy would have been set...his resume speaks for itself
and while you cite all of floyd's accomplishments, tell me why most media outlets aren't making cases for his place on ATG lists? why?
dont give me the 'they hate floyd' angle...accomplishments are accomplishments so, why isn't he being praised? could it be that his legacy is NOT cemented?Comment

ummm, no
he's held to the same standards as everyone else...that's why his legacy is not cemented
IF floyd had retired and stayed retired after the gatti fight, he would have gotten the same props as PAC is getting now...instead, you get pouty retirements sandwiched in between cherry picked fights...you REALLY think that flies to people outside the ***** community?Comment

Again, u don't win titles in 5 different weight classes, beat 13 champions, become champion a yr within your career and dominate for a whole decade while remaining undefeated and not have your legacy sealed.ummm, no

no one has won 5 belts in 5 different weight classes as fast as he has. That is history in itself, let alone being ranked at the top of class your whole career.
So to say his legacy is not sealed is just blind hatred, foolishness, or BOTH!Comment

a majority of the accomplishments you cited happened BEFORE the Gatti fight...when you come back from retirement, the boxing community EXPECTS something from you...
please re-read my previous post...and try to comprehend what i wrote...if you can't then i can't help you...Comment

after the gatti fight, he got 2 more belts in 2 different weight classes. After the gatti fight he beat the former undisputed champion and then beat his conqueror who was the lineal champion. after the gatti fight, he beat a top P4P fighter who was also undefeated by knock out. after the gatti fight, he beat the #2 rated P4P fighter in a whitewash.a majority of the accomplishments you cited happened BEFORE the Gatti fight...when you come back from retirement, the boxing community EXPECTS something from you...
