Junior welterweights are not supposed to be 200 pounds in between fights. You better expect criticism as a well known professional athlete when you take such bad care of yourself, especially considering what Pac did to him.

12 st 10? he must have lost some, because he looked heavier than that when I last saw him.

But the diet Hatton has inbetween fights is atrocious, even worse than the regular persons. He eats a fried breakfast every morning, eats heaps of meat pies, drinks like a fish, anyone would gain serious weight with that sort of diet.

Well yeah, when you have been starving and training harder than any regular person could imagine, you tend to want to relax when you have some time off.

But you need a balance, what Hatton does is extreme, same with what Duran used to do.

Considering the fact that boxing is one of the few sports that has weight limits involved. Why would anyone waste money studying a situation that should be pretty obvious?

I think Hatton had far more talent than people give him credit for, but he ruined himself with poor eating habits between fights.
Agreed I think he took bad care all the drinking pints of beer and eating fry ups between fights cant be good for him long term. I dont think he is completely shot he will still be able to beat anyone outside the top 5 LWW's

"I want to do four or five weeks away from the gym shedding time and then doing my normal 12-week training camp."

Just don't complain about overtraining after a schedule like that since it's your own damn fault, Ricky.

And people are worried about you because you've been sparked out a few times. The brain becomes more susceptible to getting knocked out each time this happens.
