I dont understand how he can become so fat. Even I'm not that fat and I only go to the gym like 3 times a week.

Most people on these boards don't even go to the gym at all. Hatton just has bad genes. Most people don't work out and still don't look as heavy as Hatton.

I had heard that he gains a lot of weight between fights. But,when did Ricky start wearing glasses? And I also find it interesting that he grows a goatee between fights.

If he is weighing 12st 10 (178 pounds) then that really is too much off his fighting weight. After xmas I was feeling fat and wasn't far off that weight yet I'm nearly 6 inches taller!
I don't think he even goes for any runs etc in between fights, he should really be weighing more than 154 between fights and still doing some cardio training a some light weights, I'm no expert just my opinion.
Fight wise, rematches against Urango or Paulie M aren't exactly mouth-watering, he would have to fight Juan MM or Khan.

Most lighter weight fighters usually weigh 20-40 pounds more than their actual fighting weight. Ricky just looks fatter than he is because his face looks swollen and he gets a double chin when he's not at his fighting weight.

I hope Hatton has 1 final big win and then retires because he's proved enough already and no matter what he accomplishes the haters will discredit it...

Hatton wants to be an elite fighter.....guess what ricky? Elite fighters don't fluctuate in weight so they look like a blimp between fights.
