This is due to body metabolism. During training your body is active, thus, allowing you to consume extra food to compensate while training.
But, once you stopped training, your body metabolism was still the same making your body to react on it, the tendency is, taking extra food thus, gaining weight. Some athletes avoids this by continuing light regimen, just to make their body metabolism adjust to it, they can still gain weight but it is manageable.Comment

The British white working class people only like Hatton because he is English, unlike Khan. That is it. The only reason.
Hatton has not beaten half the fighters that Khan has. So what if hatton has won four different World titles at two completely different weight divisions? He never fought anyone for those belts.
and because Hatton does so much for charity means he is a Saint? Give me a damn break!
he is the worst British boxer ever.Comment

This is hilarious. I've read some biased ill-informed crap on here before but this is so funny I can only assume you're joking. The British white working class people only like Hatton because he is English, unlike Khan. That is it. The only reason.

Hatton - Malignaggi, Castillo, Urango, Collazo, Tszyu all former / current champions
Khan - a shot Barrera
You cant seriously compare their pedigree yet. I agree Khan looks great and to be honest I wouldnt fancy Hatton's chances if they fought - Khan would be too quick and Ricky would leave himself too open - but at present there is no comparison between their records.
You may not like Hatton's style / whatever but you cant deny he fought some quality opposition and Khan hasn't come close to pulling off a hard victory against a top p4p champion like the night Hatton won the IBF title from Kostya TsyzuComment
