I think there are a few divisions up there. Even though its the popular choice i would give the edge to WW. You have the big names as Pac, Mayweather, Cotto, Berto, Mosley and some decent fighters as Collazo, Clottey, and even Margocheater may come back.
LHW is pretty strong now with Dawson, Cloud, Pascal, Morat, Uzelkov(sp?), and some old school guys like BHOP, Johnson, Tarver etc.
Out of the lower weights i like the Flyweight. Possibly not as deep as the bantam but the top 4 are pretty big Kameda, Wonjongkam, Naito, and Narvaez. In addition, you do have those 108 guys like Brian Villoria, Calderon, Rodel Mayol that might be able to move up.Comment

why does Kameda always wear a sombrero?Title holders-Hozumi Hasegawa (P4P level fighter), Anselmo Moreno (the most underrated in all of boxing), Yohhny Perez (exciting undefeated fighter), Fernando Montiel (Skilled veteran).
Contenders-Eric Morel, Nehomar Cermeno, Joseph Agbeko, Silence mabuza, Wladimir Sidorenko, Alexander Munoz, and Christian mijares
Prospects-Abner Mares, Alexander Bakhtin, Chris Avalos, Kohei Oba, Alexei Acosta, Tomoki Kameda, and AJ Banal.
Tough spoiler journeyman-Rafael Concepcion
This is the best, most talented, deepest division in boxing....Comment

The reason for that is he's fought many of his twelve or so professional fights in Mexico. He also has a Mexican trainer, had lived in Mexico, and speaks Spanish. His nickname is the little Mexican or something.
His brothers have a Mexican trainer, the same one as Alvarez, I believe. In fact, Alvarez walked to the ring with Daiki for his fight with Kaovichit.
On topic, 118 is the most underrated division in boxing, and my favorite. I have no problem with it being called the best.Last edited by Shadows; 01-18-2010, 01:06 AM.Comment

No, but I know he was on the same card as Alvarez and Rubio. How did he look?
Was it on Mexican TV? I know you're in TX, do you get a lot of Mexican stations down there? I'm outside of Boston, so we just have the basic Spanish speaking channels....Comment

Yea it was on Mexican TV... I do get Mexican stations... Which is great cuz I can watch fights from Mexico... When I lived in Cali it was the same way I could watch fights from Mexico... But, when I lived in Seattle it ******... They have the basic Spanish network so there was no fights that I could watch there...
But, he looked good... He blew him out of there quick... He dominated from teh get go... Showed good footwork, nice power, good speed, It finished quick though I wish it would of went more rounds. So I could get a better look...Comment
