It's pretty simple. Neither fighter wanted the fight in March but neither fighter would come out and just admit that knowing the reaction. That's why fighting at 154 and 10 million per pound over weight ever came up. Both Mayweather and Pacquiao were setting up far fetched demands trying to get the other to disagree and kill the fight. Mayweather might not have known random blood testing would cause this kind of reaction from Pacquiao's side, but the whole insinuation of requesting random blood tests is that Pac is cheating, which he knew would anger Pacquiao. It did, and it also gave Pac the "he's insulting me, I refuse to agree to outrageous demands" angle he is currently using. Both fighters bitched out because they don't want the fight in March. For Mayweather he can make Pac look like a cheat who doesn't want a real PED test, and for Pac it makes Mayweather look like a ducker asking for tests he has never asked anyone else for and no one else ever takes.

Just watch, when the two sides start negotiating later this year it will go much smoother, I'd be shocked if they don't end up fighting by the end of the year. None of this will be an issue.

But that was a catch weight fight and I guess Floyd realized that
he couldn't make weight anymore (doesn't make it right) and has
settled into 147. The Pac/Floyd fight was supposed to be at 147,
an official weight for Welter so why would Manny need to impose
a 10MIL penalty on a guy that doesn't have a history of coming in
over 147? My opinion is that the 10MIL penalty on weight was a
mind thing to have Mayweather worry about making weight. Arum,
Roach and Pac are doing an excellent job of playing the fans of the
sport for fools. Well, only the ones that are not trying to see the truth. People can believe what they want but at the very end, I won't cosign
what Pacquiao did and if Floyd would have done what Pac did to kill
this fight then guaranteed Pac fans and supporters would have
condemned Floyd for not taking the random tests and or is a cheater.

its not ridiculous to ask for it. it is ridiculous to cancel a fight over it. and that goes for both fighters.

but isnt it funny how mayweather didnt ask any of his other 40 opponents for this? and its ironic that actually mayweather takes drugs before his fights which are illegal in most places. mayweather is doing all this because he knows pac is a genuine threat to his 0. i dont think he really wanted it with pac.

Blood testing has never been done before, and the only reason it was brought up is because of the picture the Mayweathers are trying to paint of Pac as a cheater. There is seriously nothing to suggest Pac is on PEDs. Mayweather never wanted the fight at 154 or with 10 ounce gloves, he was trying to make things more difficult. 50-50 was a no brainer, and accepting the 10 million per pound penalty was Floyd calling Pac's bluff, Pac's side probably thought that would have more effect on Mayweather than it did. The bluff Pac didn't call was the blood testing, and so for some he is the bad guy, and for some Floyd is the bad guy. Either way, just wait none of this will be an issue when they do this again.

I think my posts are pretty unbias because I speak from a logical
stand point and look at things from a person living in the real world
not through the eyes of a fighter(s) I will probably never meet.
I think Manny fans and supporters are the most defensive and
insulting when it comes to this topic. I like Pac too because he
proved me wrong and earned my respect BUT to kill a fight over
random blood tests because they didn't want the guy who asked
for them to have the upper hand is nonsense. I also can't cosign
all the flack Floyd gets and other fighters get passes for doing the
same thing. Honestly I think people hating on Floyd is more than
him not fighting top guys because even when he did, does or try
and wins it was/is never enough. Floyd made negotiations very
easy for Pac and all he wanted was something a lil extra and
reassuring to make him feel 100% that both fighters were on
the up and up. What's wrong with that? It's almost like Pac
fans and supporters fault Floyd for handling his business and
looking out for his best interest? That's what you do in life
and business. Team Pac came out with EVERY EXCUSE on
why he shouldn't get RANDOMLY tested. You don't see anything
