I was trying to remember what fighter from 105 suffered going up to 108. And, I couldn't think of anybody...

I think 108 to 112 is a big jump and 112-115 I will not merge... 115-118 is a big jump IMO...

But, 105-108 I just could not think of any... Can you?

Not off the top of my head, but I'm no TheGreatA.

It's funny you mention 108-112, Gonzalez has fought at 111.5 before. Also, Koki started at 108.

Cazares just went from 108 to 115, due to weight issues, and fought a hell of a fight against Nashiro.

merging 105 & 108 would make it more interesting.. but at weight would they merge?
Why not, just remove the 105 division.. guys at 105 can still fight competitively at 108.
          I feel this is better.

or its just impressive, but you feel the older titles
            gets the better credibility..

none of the choices. They all suck. Even the ring belt has its drawbacks. but among them, ring is better. you have to beat THE man to be the champ. you either lose a fight or quit the division or boxing altogether to lose the title. not like the all the alphabet belts that you can lose just because either you didnt pay the sanctioning fees, or you fought a fighter that is not in their line of sight, or you didnt fight within a prescribed period.

plus these alphabet belts not only have a regular champ, they either have interim, diamond (wbc), superchamp (wba), intercontinental, youth, and what have you. They are greedy and crazy. They are shooting themselves on their own feet.

Yea I am going to have TheGreatA...

But, I wouldn't merge all the other ones. I will keep Flyweight and higher intact... But, like tanibanana said I would get rid of 105 and call the 108 division strawweight... You will have Gonzalez, Oleydong, Joyi, Calderon, Segura, Garcia, Ioka, etc, etc all in the same weight-class...

Yeah man, you're gonna have to call TheGreatA, JAB, BennyST, GJC, etc.

I wouldn't mind the second part.

                  You watch Sithsamerchai?

the Ring belt for me is perhaps the most credible.
