Again I have no problem with Floyd fighting Baldomir if that is what you are getting at. I thought Margarito was the bigger risk so be it... The ring/lineal belt makes you the man to beat in that weight-class. You are the REAL fucking champ... but it does not necessarily makes you the best fighter...

Again for example Roy Jones for years was the best fighter at 168 and 175 but he was not the lineal champ... He was never the REAL champ of those weight-classes. At 175 Dariusz M was the lineal champ... But, Roy Jones was the better fighter...

HHAHAHHA....MMA has as many different organisations than Boxing.......there is the UFC, Strikeforce, WEC, WAMMA......boxing doesnt need to learn anything from MMGAY....MMGAY copies everything from boxing....

but we do agree that boxing needs to turn back the clock to back when there was only 1 title holder

well, this is highly debatable.. UFC have 1 champ per weight class..
but MMA as a sport does have a plenty of champions as well..

for now, we can say UFC is the MMA, or MMA is UFC but there are
still MINOR belts surrounding the UFC..

But I do agree boxing should mimic the better attributes of UFC..

Hell, I'd be happy if it were like 60's, 70's, etc. or Japan, where only the WBC and WBA (or any two sanctioning bodies) were recognized.
**** WBC and WBA will be ideal for me too... Less is more... And, they have to cut all that super, interim, diamond, emirutus, champion in recess, my daddy can beat your daddy titles that the WBC and WBA have.

And, you know I like the lower weights. But, I wish 105 and 108 will just merged together. I mean is 3lbs.. How bad would they be affected by 3 lbs... And, that would even make 108 even a more competitive talented division...

now this is the problem with boxing.....there should only be 1 title holder per division and they should have a rankings system where the best 2 in the division should fight each other, so there could be no excuses as to who the best really is.....because its demeaning to the Title Holder to say you're not the best and that your title is just a paper title because so and so is better than you....well than WTF? this problem should be resolved for the good of the sport

Yea Lennox fought for it... He was the first elite fighter to really carry it. And, then I think Roy Jones followed suit.

Well, you have to look at it this way. The lower weights were always separated by fewer pounds than the higher weights, even when there were only eight weight classes. So, there must be some effect.
