No its not overexaggerated, Clottey is just not active enough to beat any top fighter.

Who said anything about running or feinting??? I mean he's just not active enough, He has one of the best combo (Especially the left down/up hook) But he isnt busy enough, He takes too much time off then try to comeback in the last 30 secs, He can get away with it if he was De la Hoya or Mayweather but when you're a guy like Clottey who has no Leverage then you need to up your activity if not they would give it to your opponent.

Most african fighters like Clottey or Funeka need to be flawless just to get a draw if a fight they win, He could have beat Margarito and he could have beaten Cotto but he just isnt busy enough and he isnt mentally tough enough to go the extra mile and do whats needed to win.

what happened with cotto and margarito doesnt really show mental weakness. cotto was running like i made the point in my first post, hence clottey wasnt throwing many punches because he couldnt find range on cotto because he was running. he hurt his hand against margarito and if he was so mentally weak he would of quit on his stool (vitali klitschko is a good example) instead clottey fought all twelve rounds and still managed to pull out some other rounds after the first four rounds.

And yes Clottey is mentally weak, He wanted to quit against Margarito and was looking for a way out of the fight, If not for Kwame(Trainer) who wouldnt let him quit Clottey would have done so, And Margarito was also injured with an angle injury in that fight.

Look i like clottey because i feel like he's durable, Throw nice combo when he wants to and can certainly fight but for him to beat Pac he would need more than what i have seen from him in 10 or 12 fights so far.

hey i agree clottey should throw more punches sometimes..but i dont think its fair to say the guy is weak and is going to get steamrolled by pacquiao.

i can't remember whether it was against cotto or zab, my memory escapes me right now, but he was complaining about the headbutt that occured, and that he couldn't see.....

i thought they were gonna stop the fight....

i can't remember which fight it was, but he was slouching in his corner, between rounds, after the butt, bitching like he wanted his corner to stop the fight.....

clottey's tough and has a great chin, but his heart is questionable.....IMO

i dont even know what your talking about?..in the zab fight he split his eye open with a sharp uppercut and the ref called it a headbutt wrongfully and zab is the one who tried to quit and he did and it backfired..the only other thing i can think of is when cotto threw clottey down and clottey smashed his knee on the canvas and he hurt it, but he never said he wanted to quit he said he wanted to keep going, and he did, and proceeded to whoop cotto's ass.

i dont understand this hate people have for this guy, i really dont.
