Rewatched DLH/PBF last night...

He didn't even look good vs. Forbes. Oscar's death wish wasn't his age or even his inactivity post-Hopkins, it was thinking that he could descend in weight just like he had risen in weight. 150 was knocking on death's door, he met the grim reaper at 145.Comment

Sure it did.
But I'm making the point that if DLH didn't have a good game plan from Roach against Mayweather he'd look more like the DLH that fought Pacquiao.
If DLH had Nacho in his corner against Mayweather, I think it would have been Mayweather by UD not SD.Comment

Another sad attempt to discredit Pac's wins. Look, Roach had a plan for the fight. I admit, Roach did have the benefit of seeing OLDH/Mayweather, but come on, give the little dude the credit he deserves. He knew what he had to do coming into the fight, and he executed. Same thing with the Hatton fight! Roach knew how to optimize Pac's advantages, and Pac followed through. I think alot of it has to do with how Floyd doesn' come in with a game plan. He is naturally gifted and he can improvise throughout the fight. Pac/May are 2 completely different kind of fighters but their both the best at what they do. Instead of just crediting Pac's recent KO's to steroids, why don't Pac haters take into this into consideration? I attribute Pac's success to great scouting and a well thought out game plan.& If people truely think that's the same man that stepped in the ring against Pac, they must be crazy. I understand that the activity of Pac was tough for DLH to handle, and PBF didn't use the straight right as well and often as Pac, but DLH was unable to throw anything when he fought Pac, when he fought PBF he was just missing his jab.Comment
