if hopkins fights like he has been lately (sven ottke style) then he will win a points decision. if he fights a fight, then he might get KO'd....wouldn't we love that.........

although, i pick the old fox on points.

I'm not really that interested in this fight... Middleweight is such a flat division, and I ain't particulary keen on either of these fighters.

I'm more interested in Gatti vs Mayweather than Hopkins vs Taylor, AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING!

I'm more excited about seeing, Tszyu/Morales/Barrera/Cotto/Hatton/Pacquiao/Klitshco/Johnson/Calzaghe/De La Hoya/Trinidad/Wright/Mayorga/Witter/Castillio/Corrales/JMM/Judah etc etc etc Fight over either Hopkins or Taylor.

It'll just be another, Hopkins running for 12 rounds and squeezing out a points decsion... BORING!

I like seeing guy's that come to fight, not come to run.

            My point exactly.
Sure he beat him, but Leonard was old already by then.
You're the one agreeing with a guy who says just because one fighter beats another fighter, he's greater than him. You have to realize that the different periods of a fighter's career a fight takes place in can have a big effect on the outcome of the fight..

And you have to realize that IMO Hokpkins is still the same Hopkins that beat Tito. If Taylor beats him is because he was the better boxer that night. You can't say that it was because Hopkins is old. He's still fighting the same way. Ageless bastard!!...

Everytime I hear the media talking about this fight, They never say That Hopkins shouldn't take this fight because he's too old.
They talk about how he's the best in the division and that they can't see him losing this fight.

We'll see how he looks during fight time.
Even if he wins, but doesn't look impressive doing it. Someone can still say that he was old .

i think if Jermain comes in and rushes Hopkins the whoole night he would win (like what Glen Johons did to Roy) But i havent seen Taylor do anything special. And also his character isnt for a boxer.Everytime they ask him questions like "HOw bad do u want to be the King at Middle??" he said "ah yeah i guess so i dunno" and when he fough Joppy he mentioned "i dont think im that good"

If he rushes Hop, I think he could get counter punched into "Bolivian". If Taylor has any self doubt, Hop will smell it and use it to his advantage.

in a few years we;ll be talking about taylor and we;ll say the hopkins defeat was a good learning experience. He just too inexperienced to be able to deal effectively with hopkins
