Which is BS don't you think?

Berto has Floyds WBC belt that he vacated.. and what if Berto whoops Mosley convincingly?

It can't happen because they are both managed by Haymon?

    FFS!

Value is the least of the problem. You may lose the fighter period. If Floyd did beat Williams right now though, Williams would probably take a big hit as for as great as people say he is, he's also had alot of suspect things go on in his career. As for a guy like Berto, if he loses to a guy like Floyd then he may never be the same again. Its like Arum put Cotto in with his fighters but not only did he lose, he's not the same anymore and never will be again. That **** can realistictly happened and then the manager feels dumb because they didnt have to do it

I can't stand Arum, but he certainly doesn't see this as a problem.
I've never understood it either. Business is business and even though you manage the careers of three top fighters ... bills have to be paid. There is no legitimate reason why fighter's under his financial\career guidance cannot meet each other while at the top of their game. Especially since it will be a mega-fight earning the whole crew much paper.

I think for one thing {IMHO} too much is placed on a loss these days - losing a fight is not the end of the world. And losing against another top opponent doesn't diminish your worth .... its just part of being a competitor.

          I say yes!!!!!!

Put Floyd and Williams\Berto in the ring together .... All of boxing will be glad you did.

If Paul loses...he'll simply take his ass to 154 or 160 and get it popping.

I have a hard time believing that if Floyd WANTED to fight Berto Al Haymon would be all, "no floyd, not going to happen!"

I'm sure floyd could fight anyone he so desires. Al Haymon could advise Floyd anything he wants, but in the end he works for floyd.

of course its UTTER BS perpetrated by *****holics. A manager's job is to get his fighters big fights with big money. If Boxing Promotional Companies can let its own fighters fight each other, why not a manager?

Its just another excuse as to why fraudulent jr. cant fight so & so boxer.
