But the discussions went nowhere because besides insisting on a 50-50 split, Marquez also asked for the same level of drug testing as Mayweather. Schaefer also said that while he had not spoken to Shane Mosley about a future fight with Pacquiao, it was likely that Mosley would also require blood testing before any fight with Pacquiao.

Arum said he would no longer consider any form of testing beyond what the state commission requires for any future fight with Pacquiao -- including Mayweather.

"This is beyond ******," said Arum. "That was my biggest mistake, allowing any of this to happen. I should have said no. We're not revisiting [blood testing]. We're not negotiating with these punks anymore. If Mayweather wants to fight Pacquiao down the road, he will have to go by the testing the state commission asks for. If not, life goes on."

        Most people already know this.

        Both camps failed.

Pac's for not accepting the 14-day compromise and Mayweather's for bringing up the ****** issue in the first place.

They lied, lied and lied again. The myriad of excuses as to why Pac didnt want blood taken - Superstition, Needles, Weakens him, Mayweather dont make the rules, USADA are unfit. Then they didnt acknowledge the 14 days --- because it would have made them look bad.
Still hope Pac is clean cause Clottey v Pac is a great fight

I never thought this date of March 13, even when the negotiations were going very well I had doubts about it happening on March 13. It was really hard to make such a huge event in such a short period of time. This is a fight the whole world wants to see so you need to have a world tour for this fight. That was not possible for a March 13 date...

I see this fight happening at the end of the year. Where it possibly could be even bigger and better than what it is now... And, also in the mean time I can see a state commission or sanctioning body feeling pressured about getting blood testing as a mandatory... Just like I think it was NY or New Jersey who felt pressure about getting instant replay and not they do it and Nevada followed suit... So everybody should just calm down and see how this whole thing plays out... because, as of right now all this is a moot point. Pac will most likely in March and Floyd will fight in March or April... So they have moved on as we speak maybe in the mean time we should too...

Not really, alot of people are still going by this, where Arum lied:

Team Pacquiao, Arum Slam Mayweather's 14-day Story
