no they haven't been stringently tested which is why they came out negative. nevada doesnt require blood testing just urine. you need both to catch someone using ped's and it has to be multiple and random testing.Comment

How so?? Holyfield took the tests and PASSED! AND he is a known steroid user!!
So how does that give these extra tests ANY merit?
Also, if you have a beef with how the commission does their testing.. take it up with the commission. DONT just single out ONE boxer.Comment

Is HGH effective when used alone or in conjunction with other banned substances? Can these "other" banned substances be detected by a urine test? Please provide the quotes of these doctors for our perusal. Its not supposed to be proof you ******. How the hell is anyone supposed to prove he's on roids without taking the tests? We all know that. The video is pointing to the fact that he didn't have a legitimate reason to refuse the testing and that his 24 day window would allow him to cheat and clear his system before he tested after the fight. In other words, testing Manny 24 days before the fight and once after, doesn't prove a thing.
Its been quoted by doctors many times in the past week that urine tests alone don't pick up everything. Another ******* ownage.Comment

That's because the system in place is not fool proof. They have enough time to mask that ***** before they are tested. Random testing is fool proof. That's what the doctors say, not me. Watch the video again if you didn't pick that up.Comment

i didnt say anything about floyd.. hahahha i said u have nothing until pac is proven guilty am i wrong?? this vid is ****ting on NSAC thats all it is.. it is the way since i dont know when its been a long time right.. so this vid is nothing just to bash on pac and make u *****s believe more that pac is on roids.
Look am not hating on Pac or loving Mayweather trust me. Am just going by common sense. The fact that you feel this vid is bashing on Pac exposes you as a ******* because the vid indirectly puts Manny in a bad light there for you feel a sence of disrespect or feel its offensive when a boxing fan would see it as a boxer simply looking suspecious about refusing to be tested. Holyfield even said that if he would refuse testing that he would look guilty. Is that Holyfield hating or bashing on himself to say that? No he simply took the test and pass it with out a problem. Don't be affended man. We are both boxing fans and should back up anything that would benefit the sport and the boxing fans. When boxers get to big they try to monopolis the sport and hence why big fights aren't being made. Olympic style testing will only make the sport cleaner and more respected. How could this hurt the sport or the fighters. In fact this would protect the fighters as well.Comment

No,I agree that Manny asking his opponents to shed excess weight weakens them.As well as his last 4 opponents,Clottey will be at a major disadvantage physically. If Manny wants to give the impression that he is fighting the "bigger" guys, why does he make them dry up???
Weight divisions are in place for a reason.Holding a belt and putting it on the line for that division shouldn't glorify Manny if he is draining his opponents in catchweight fights.
Don't get me started on Manny's "success".There seems to be a lot of criteria with his big name fights- always has been.Last edited by damned1974; 01-13-2010, 09:15 PM.Comment

I didn't save them, did you save yours? Show us where they say urine tests alone are just as good and taking blood is pointless. The burden of proof is on you for the fact blood tests were required. Why would Manny submit to any blood test period if they were useless?Comment

Manny is submitting to blood test in good faith to the negotiation process. However, 'Lil Floyd's stipulations made it difficult for Pacquiao to agree upon.
This article is based on this (facts)

Quote: USADA Prefers Out Of Competition Testing
Said J. Sahi, M.D., tells Philboxing why the USADA prefers out-of-competition testing:
A random blood testing for the synthetic Human Growth Hormone, Somatropin, within the training period leading to the fight is NOT an effective way to catch cheaters especially if it is done within the thirty days before the fight. The USADA knows this. As a matter of fact, Travis Tygart, the CEO of USADA said that to be most effective, athletes would have to be subjected to random testing while out of competition. If it will be done for this fight, it would be during competition since the fighters are scheduled to start training in early January.
No athletes, trainers and coaches in their right mind will use this drug few days or weeks before the competition. It is useless because it will take several weeks to months to have the desired results. That is why this test is recommended to be used when athletes are out of competition.
It is not simple to use HGH for few weeks before the fight. It is troublesome. When using HGH the body also needs more thyroid hormones, insulin, corticosteroids, gonadotropins, estrogens and what a surprise androgens and anabolic steroids. This is also the reason why HGH, when taken alone, is considerably less effective and can only reach its optimum effect by the additive intake of steroids, thyorid hormones, and insulin, in particular.1 These other drugs can be detected by the urine test then NSAC urine test is already enough for this.
There are three hormones which are needed at the same time in order to allow for maximum anabolic effect. These are HGH, insulin, and an LT-3 thyroid hormone, such as, for example, Cytomel. Only then can the liver produce and release an optimal amount of somatomedin and insulin-like growth factors. This anabolic effect can be further enhanced by taking a substance with an anticatabolic effect. These substances are-everybody should probably know by now-anabolic/androgenic steroids or Clenbuterol. Then a synergetic effect takes place. 2
Blood sugar and thyroid hormone should also be monitored while using HCG. It is really difficult and inconvenient to have all these stuffs during competition especially when you have only few weeks before the fight. That is why, this is being done during out of competition when athletes have several months prior to the competition or fight.
