On paper they are big fights. In 20 years when my bastard child (god forbid I ever actually have a kid) asks me about what it was like to watch boxing in the Mayweather era, when he was dominating every weight class, he'll honesty believe those fights meant something because on paper those are the big names of our time.
In order to demonstrate why Mayweather isn't an ATG I will strap boxing gloves on his 8 year old fists and pummel him mercilessly for 12 rounds without going for a KO.Comment

Why cuz he didnt fight pacquiao??what about the **** he did in the lighter weight divisions??? pacquiao fought the same people he did yet everyone is on mannys nuttz about it....youre just a hater...if he beat manny,berto,mosley, and paul you guys would still find a excuse 2 hate....its ok theo, its part of your DNA, youre daddy was probably a hater, his daddy was probably a hater....etc.....haterComment

The guys talking sense man, you cant say Floyd just fights tune ups when he's fought some decent guys. If you went through his opponents and what they've accomplished in the sport (titles etc) then you wont be saying they're all nobodys.
People hate on him as though he is overrated and fights nobodies. He has ridiculous talent, and you'd know that if you watched his fights objectively instead of letting your hate of him cloud your judgements.
But you could then say the same thing for Pac, his recent fights have been people we've all heard of, and a few of his less recent ones, (Barrera, Marquez etc) but still, before that ? Nobodies, a long line of tune ups.
And please god dont called me a Mayweather - lover.
I like Pacquiao just as much, if not more than Mayweather, but unlike you i look at boxing objectively and actually depict the styles and talents each has....instead of jumping on the band-wagon with the other god knows how many people on this forum who love Pac all of a sudden because he's best pound for pound and everyone says he's the next big thing.Comment
