Does Floyd only fight tune-ups?

It's kinda why I think losing early in your career is often a good thing (bernard hopkins for example, paul williams to a lesser extent).
There are a number of guys who go undefeated for so long they just don't take risks because of that "0" (mayweather, calzaghe, ottke, etc.)Last edited by ИATAS; 01-13-2010, 04:07 PM.Comment

Oh I'm sorry, the words Tune up = Not formidable at 140? Cool. That's what "tune up " is now hmm?
Chalk it up to irrational hatred of Floyd and newness to English.
The Gatti fight was not a tune up. Don't be ******ed. It was a goal of his and at the time a big fight with fairly even odds at best. Gatti was considered too big and too strong and floyd too small, too weak and not able to "take the heat".Comment

This makes no sense. The guy he nearly lost to. So you're saying that changed his mentality.
So why did he IMMEDIATELY rematch the dude right after and own him?
