    Agreed.

Didn't need to fight JMM, was other fights. Don't give me money excuses.

Could have entertained the idea of fighting Mosley and Manny in the lead up to that apparent tune up, and hasn't even landed a fight with either of them since now all this time on. Regardless, it is just more weaker fights. He finds ways of getting away with not fighting the absolute top guys with real talent, he'll say not enough money, tune up, drugs, not a draw. But then he considers Matt Hatton!?!?!

Mosley would fight him a few weeks after Floyd would potentially fight Paulie or someone anyway, why won't he ever wait a tiny bit and actually just fuggin make the fight?

Forget Oscar. That was a moneyfight.
You don't have to go back 7 years Nelson *looooooooooool*

I know that fighters have an different perception on things then normal dudes like us... but someone must have told him how ****** it looks from the outside... and that's the sad thing... it seems that his team has no clue whatsoever... if he thinks that M. Hatton brings him a ton of money - if he fights him in Wembley (which can be true I don't know) but somebody has to tell him listen, Hatton brings you a lot of money but he is a NOBODY...

He doesn't seem to realize like I said... I don't blame him... he is a fighter... he has the perception that he is the best and everybody hates on him... but he must have a team around him who tells him... you can't fight M. Hatton, you can't fight Campbell etc.

GP gives a ****... Campbell is under contract with them - so it makes them more money... they don't care about him... but where are the guys who should care for him... guys like Ellerbe, Haymon... I know he owns Haymon money and if Haymon wants to get it back he should tell him that Hatton and Campbell are not breaking it...

Let's pray that he sits out the April date and waits for Mosley... this is a fight that the public wanted for years... and should have good PPV numbers... if he does 1 mil with Marquez... this one should be even higher

I don't understand people defending his choice of opponents. He is such a waste of talent.

Ive been a long time Floyd fan, and Ive said this in the past...he doesn't look for challenging fights and there's a few out there that he probably should've taken up till now. Call it bad timing? Who knows anymore...

But if you're comparing resumes in the last several years? I don't see many that top Cotto's at WW (which Floyd has been at for quite some time now).

It's unfair to those other fighters to call them tune ups. They are all great boxers, they were simply chosen at points in their careers where Floyd knew he could beat them.

Floyd is possibly once of the most talented fighters in years, but he doesn't take any risks whatsoever. To say that he does would be wrong. Floyd is an incredible boxer, but his record does not properly convey the fights he has participated in and in turn, in my eyes, he will never be an ATG until he proves he can take a chance.

              Stop the hate man.

Campbell is not even signed..I personally spent an hour on the phone with Nates manager he said its basically nothing.
Really? I guess even Nate's manager thinks this is a joke right? Daaaaaaaaamn, I wish the guys who on his team (I guess they are getting payed good money for whatever they do) could get their heads outta their asses and tell him... it won't cut it... but as it seems they seem to applaud match ups like Hatton or Campbell

Yeah, let's compare Pac's choice, Clottey, to one of Floyd's potential choices, *cough* Nate Campbell. :thinking1:

Not seven+ years? I was thinking all the way back to Castillo to be honest.

You bet he'll fight Campbell or M.Hatton as mentioned by Kris. A 39 year old Mosley is still to dangerous for Floyd. Heck he wouldn't even fight Cotto I'm sure.

Nope. He needs a tune-up. And then another tune-up before retirement as the GOAT.

You can label them all as tune-ups for the bigger fight just around the corner. The bigger fight that never came.
