Comments Thread For: Plans For Kelly Pavlik's Return are in Motion

The boxing calendar is starting to take shape. Plans are in motion for the 2010 debut of WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik. I've heard Top Rank would like to bring Pavlik back between March and May. Several dates are being discussed, including two possible dates on HBO in the month of April. Pavlik wants to fight all of the obvious names - Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez and Felix Sturm. [Click Here To Read More]

I don't even think is Goosen now is Al Haymon... Bob Arum will not do business with him... For them to get Pavlik now they have to come down for the 50-50 spli and Goosen going to have to negotiate. Haymon can not be involved in anyway...

Look, for all you **** who dont understand, this is how it works. Pavlik can earn just as much fighting Martinez or Sturm. He dont need big ugly williams.

This is why I said on the show. The lawsuit will ruin ALOT of big fights.

it should be 50/50. pavlik needs williams more than williams needs pavlik. kelly has to start fighting some top guys or move out of that division or his reputation is going keep going down. plus pavlik pulled out twice for williams and that alone should make it 50/50.

All are good fights and winnable...

Williams - punches a lot but he also gets hit a lot... we will see if he can take Pavlik's punches.

Martinez - is a good mover... but he is not at the level of B-Hop and def. not physical as strong as Pavlik... his style is more based on his feet moving then been a crafty boxer...

Felix Sturm - good boxer... but misses the pop... let's see if Roach can teach him some more tricks...

All are good fights and I think he has a chance to beat them all

                    Exactly...

Williams can just stay at 154..........and run ****. he dont need Pavlik.

If Pavlik dont fight a GOOD MIDDLEWEIGHT next..he should be stripped..Enough of his crap.

                    Sturm , Williams or Martinez.

                    All 3 beat him.

Williams can fight Martinez at 154....get the belt..and unify that *****.
