very true, and whats worse is that nobody comes down on shane for cheating, we beat up margarito, we make floyd look like the bad guy for asking, and heres a guy who admitted to cheating and passed the same bull**** ass test that pacquiao would have to take. so its definitely beatable, what kills me is that people wanna see him put these issues aside (meaning mayweather) and fight pacquaio who refuses to random testing, or Shane mosely who admittingly cheated. Floyd hater's disgust me, i dont like his personality at all, but this **** is ridicolous.

You will find that guys who come clean and apologise (like mosley did....an others in MLB) are generally forgiven by the fans of the sport and move on.

Guys who vehemently deny they are taking anything , don't submit to testing and slap people with lawsuits...you will find those are generally the type of athletes who are not forgiven once it is revealed they are dopers.......this is the category Pac falls in.....after all the bull**** he and his team have spouted out snce this became an issue if it is revealed he is a cheater he will not be forgiven by the fans (except *******s...who will refuse to beleive it...even then)

i'am a floyd and pac fan i'am a fan of boxing and i have to say this.first i can't say mayweather won the first round cuz pac did not cave to his demands.and moved on to a fight that's still gonna be big with clottey.sorry mayweather only move is to fight ssm any of those name's is not acceptable maybe cintron is the only one i would watch and if they fought on the same night would watch pac clottey for the action.lol.mayweather is boring and needs a good fighter in the other corner to make me watch.if he does not fight ssm everyone will watch pac vs clottey it's better then money vs bradley i love brad but he is a jr welter very small this would not b a good fight mayweather needs to step up and fight ssm or cintron big guys who are gonna give him trouble if he don't he will never get my hard earned money again.

i agree with an early comment posted here, nobody won anything, the biggest losers are us, the fans, who pay these boxers bills and they couldnt provide us with what we've been begging for...but i also co-sign with the author, clottey, in my eyes, is a bigger risk to take than cotto was..clottey has no history of being hurt, cut, dominated not even the slightest bit, and hes been in there with cotto, judah, margarito, baldomir.. i hope pac didnt choose him as a tune up, cuz that will be a disaster..

but the only way i see floyd matching manny risk for risk, is if floyd called out paul williams, that would shut all his critics up, even me..anyone else he fights, he will get dissed for it, no matter how good bradley is, hes not a welter..we want floyd to fight a 147 pound fighter, an elite one for once in his career..if not pwill, i wouldnt be mad if he chose collazo, who deserves another shot to get shine because his fight with berto was very close, and he gave mosley a decent scrap, and he was whoopin on hatton but lost on points..so either williams or collazo, those 2 right there, will give floyd credit

Unfortunately, the Top Rank affiliation doesn't help put Clottey in such an advantageous light from my view either. That's unless he really does have the wherewithal to prove his worth once and for all by putting on the performance of his life on the way to dethroning the P4P champ. He knows his stock will rise if he can pull it off.

Still, as has been noted, Clottey has failed to step on the gas and pull the trigger when it mattered most in big fights, though I won't bust his balls for his performance against Margarito due to the hand injury he suffered. That's if he really suffered a hand injury and was not just a play-acting bit of whining for the ref's sympathy like he did when he fought Cotto.

We can only sit back and watch how it will play out. Should be interesting.

Nobody won, the fans lost, the fighters lost a big payday and now rumors of PED usage is tainting this whole thing. Now we are gonna get two PPV fights the same night against fighters we don't want to see.

The public wants a Pac/Floyd fight anything else is a let down. I still thing that it will happen in the fall, its just simply too much money for it not to happen

Great Article!! Right on the Money!! I was actually rooting for Pac because of the fact that i really detest Floyd for fighting flies. But ever since the Blood Test scandal and Pac denying random tests I slowly went on Floyd's side, something I never saw myself doing. Innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around. Just because someone is accused of doing something wrong or speculated of doing something wrong it doesn't mean that it was done. What if somebody claims that Floyd was caught sucking Ellerbe's d***k and then they show that famous video of Ellerbe rubbing Floyd and use that as proof, does that mean Floyd is gay. And if Floyd is confronted about it and he denies it, does that mean Floyd is definitely gay. And then they ask him to take a lie detector test and ask questions about him being gay and then he refuses to take the test, does than mean he's gay. Let's say he does take the test but then he fails it, does that mean Floyd is really gay. See what i'm gettin at. Point is you shouldn't convict anybody base on false and baseless accusations. Many people are convinced that Floyd is gay, doesn't mean he is because nobody has any proof whatsoever except their speculations and accusations about Floyd being gay. Get it now.
