    The next Shane Mosley

Since 2004 the Palm Springs fighter has refined his boxing style from “hit and run” to an aggressive but strategic “seek and destroy” method of fighting.

“He fights a lot like Shane Mosley,” said Robert Diaz, who also guides several Southern California boxers like Dominic Salcido. “He can box and he can punch.”

Like Mosley, Bradley is not a tall fighter for his 140-pound weight class at five feet six-inches. But he’s very muscular and likes to lift weights, much like Mosley.

“He doesn’t lift weights any more,” said Joel Diaz, who as trainer asked his fighter to refrain from building muscle. “Now he can get down to 135 pounds if he wants to.”

As an amateur boxer Bradley fought at the 152-pound weight division despite always being the shorter fighter. Now he competes solely at the 140-pound weight division where his natural strength gives him an edge.

“I remember seeing Tim Bradley at 152 pounds. He’s a really strong fighter,” said IBF junior welterweight titleholder Paul Malignaggi of Brooklyn, New York. “He has good hand speed and he’s really strong.”

Bradley look like he on Peds..

    More so then Pac ..

    IMHO....

well thats a bit innacurate oscar beat trinidad, but pissedd off the judges and the 2nd fight with mosley shouldve gone to oscar,,the compubox favors oscar in both those fights, oscar may not be robinson but its fair to say that pacman probably wouldnt beat half the guys oscar has, but oscar sure can beat anyone pac has faced prime for prime, do u see pac goin toe to toe with an unbeaten mosley??? i sure dont mosleys speed power and smarts in those days blow pacman out tha water!! pac wont even fight him now and the dude is like 40 with 5 losses pffffff!!! i just dont see the greatness, call me a hater i see a very carefully manuevered and solid welterweight in manny nothing more.the robinson or even armstrong references frankly to me are ridiculous and made to just sell tickets since there is no other peoples champ rt now.

I hate Oscar with a passion but he was a very good fighter. I don't see greatness either....i see careful opponent selection. Prime for Prime Oscar would beat Pac @ any weight they have both competed in even with his left hand dominance. I mean Oscar was able to go to 160 and be competitive with hopkins until he took that liver shot.

I see the same thing with Mosley. Pac would give him a run for his money now but not before.

At the lower weights floyd could compete with both because of his defense and overall boxing skills...he simply would not engage......butPac is a guy who can't do that.

            • Round 1 Floyd winning? how in the hell did that happen? Pacman will not give in to someone who sold 1 million PPV compared to his 1.25 million PPV? PBF needs Pac and NOT the other way around.....

The only way for Floyd to win round 2 is for him to fight Cintron and Bradley AT THE SAME TIME......

PBF better stop his pattern of selecting smaller fighters to fight him at WW....this is ******....Hatton going up to WW from Jr WW, JMM going up to WW from LW and now, these Jr. WW going up to WW....

the fans are not ****** PBF....fight someone your own size

Couldnt agree more. I take nothing away from manny pacquiao but ever since this fight between him and mayweather was announced, it seems like pacman's camp (in particular Bob Arum and Freddie Roach) seem to change there stance minute to minute. Take notes and lets compare.

After Mayweather defeated Marquez, and the premature talks about started about this potential mega-fight. I remember a reporter asked Freddie Roach, if Mayweather fought pacquaio at a contracted weight of 147, and mayweather came in over the weight limit, would you take the money and allow manny to fight him. He was asked this question more than once, and every time i saw him being asked he gave the same response, "I have no problem just walking away." So my question would be, if thats the way you feel, and its fair to feel that way, then why ask that mayweather pay 10million for each pound he's over weight, if you already made it abundantly clear that you wouldnt allow manny to fight under those circumstances.
To me, it seems like they didnt expect mayweather to accept those terms and he did.

Im reading forums all over the place and mostly every one i read make's it seem like floyd has all these ridiculous demands to prevent the fight from happening, and really this is the only demand from mayweather's camp that i hear them asking for.

Then it was the issue or deadline for random testing. Urine was going to be random and pacquiao refuses to give blood before a certain time frame leading up to the fight. Manny's camp wanted random blood testing up until a month before the fight, while mayweathers camp wanted testing up until fight night.

Last week they had a mediator trying to negotiate terms and unfortunately they werent able to get things done. Bob arum was on every boxing forum trying to get fans to believe that Mayweather didnt agree to the proposal of a 24 day cut-off, even "according to Arum" after his advisors told him it was a fair idea. The next day after the article was posted, the MEDIATOR, comes forth and says that Pacquiao's camp has been lying about what exactly took place at the negotiation table.

Floyd Mayweather's advisor Leonard Ellerbe blasted Pacquiao for accusing them of encouraging or tryin to encourage floyd to take the fight, saying that 24 day cut off was not acceptable to them, and that his team proposed a 14 day cut off period, which was denied. When Arum was confronted by Boxingscene.com and asked if this was true, he vehemently denied the allegations and said no proposal was made, then when the reported informed him that according to mayweather's camp that offer still stands he announces that the fight is off completley. One side wants 30days of a cut-off, the other side wants testing up until fight night, so when it was made public that they indeed rejected the 14 day offer it led some to believe that it was fair, and also that Manny's camp might not want somethings to come to light.

I live in the New york/Jersey area, and i read the article posted last week that stated that a member from the pacquiao camp sent 2 text messages asking some very peculiar questions. 1. What would the penalty be if pacquiao was tested and was positive, and 2. Could a positive test be kept quiet for the sake of boxing. A lot of people from the area like myself, believe that somebody from mayweathers camp posed as a rep for pacquiao, in an attempt to make it look like he's hiding something.

Personally, i trust manny pacquiao, i dont think he's cheated or at least knowingly did. However, who i dont trust is his trainer Ariza. I remember about 2months ago there was an article posted and he made a very suggestive comment in regards to this whole steroid thing (before the fight with Cotto). He said that most people dont know the difference between steroids and supplemants. Which leads me to wonder why they are so adamant on knowing when the testing stops. Thats the purpose of random testing. Im not saying that pacquiao is guilty, lord knows for the sake of the sport i hope not, but it kills me that everybody and their mother is making it seem like by Floyd asking for this testing he's scared to fight manny. Its the only request he had, and the other bull**** requests manny's camp asked were granted, either though most of them were nothing more than head games.

Then you have the article with freddie roach and the biochemist major/boxing reporter where he's really trying to argue that there is no way to test for hgh or steroids in a blood test. It seemed like the reported wanted to tell Freddie listen your a trainer and im a biochemist for 30 years, "I dont care what some unannouced doctor told you, you can test for hgh and steroids if that's what your looking for, but freddie was so upset of the questions being asked in regards to pacman and his stance with not allowing him to take these tests, that for argument's sake you see he's constantly telling Freddie i dont wanna make you upset lets change the subject and he does.

If this fight does not fall through i think most people are blaming the wrong figher. Floyd would be taking the same test and unlike manny, he doesnt mind being tested up until fight night, im not saying that manny is guilty, but frankly, i dont even think he's aware of what's ariza's putting into his system.
But the more they stay stuck on this random blood testing issue the more it seems clear to me that team pac is hiding something and whatever ariza is putting into his system, probably needs more than 14 days to get out.

                • i like the kermit fight its challenging but very winnable, kermit can punch so you get respect but he has bad stamina in the later rounds leaving room for the tko or corner stopage, bradley is a little guy who isn't a big puncher but he is a solid one

Well most people (including myself) have suggested if he is taking something it is likely to be EPO. Personally i think if he is its a combo of EPO and HGH.

Most have quite rightly pointed out the recognised test for EPO is urinalysis (though this does not detect new gen EPO's). I would like to point out at this stage that Shane Moslye admitted to using THG and EPO (correct me if i'm wrong here). How did shane pass the urinalysis test?? Masking agents, using someone else's clean urine.......????

I seriously doubt they even tested Shane's urine for EPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very true, and whats worse is that nobody comes down on shane for cheating, we beat up margarito, we make floyd look like the bad guy for asking, and heres a guy who admitted to cheating and passed the same bull**** ass test that pacquiao would have to take. so its definitely beatable, what kills me is that people wanna see him put these issues aside (meaning mayweather) and fight pacquaio who refuses to random testing, or Shane mosely who admittingly cheated. Floyd hater's disgust me, i dont like his personality at all, but this **** is ridicolous.
