pac and pbf's method of negotiations involve a series of mind games that may affect the outcome of the fight itself, similar in a sense to a poker match. you have to be firm enough if you're planning to win.

mayweather's team accusing pac of taking steroids/ped's/hgh/zoloft/extenze/nuvering/etc. and wanting pac to take additional drug tests can be compared to one poker player accusing another of cheating without solid proof and requesting a search for the certain individual.

now, if you are the said poker player being accused sure, you can accommodate that guy's demands and clean your name, but why would you when you don't really have to? the smarter thing to do is let the said player grasp for evidences and proofs that you are cheating, leave him guessing since this will affect him mentally... the more he believes that you are cheating and that he can't prove it, the better since he will start doubting his own judgement later on.

if and only if the said player gets enough proof to warrant a full body search should you agree to it and finally prove your innocence. why? because you do not want yourself, under any circumstance helping your opponent fight his own mental game."
Ummm... that's what I do when I am TRYING TO HIDE SOMETHING...

That's like saying your not cheating on your girl unless you get caught...
Innocent people are eager to clear their name...
This is similiar to Kordell Stewart saying why does his sexual orientation matter when asked if he was gay...
Get out of here with that law school bull****... Your biasness is clouding your judgement... pacqauio is a cheater straight up... and he knows it... Everyone knows thoise who plead the 5th have something to hide...

No. Gagos always say that Team mayweather said " go take tests."

Team mayweather said "LET'S go take tests".

MAYWEATHER DID NOT ASK MANNY TO DO ANYTHING THAT FLOYD WASN'T ALSO GOING TO DO.

      *submit, not summit.

Freddie Roach: "I have no problem with the testing whatsoever. They can do whatever (Keyword: Whatever) kind of drug testing that they want".

"If they give me a 5-day window or something like that I have no problem with it," Roach said. "When they've drawn blood from Manny in the past he feels weaker for three or four days. It may be mental, but it's there."

He currently holds the record for 7 titles in 7 different different weight classes, and he's done it by rising through the ranks and knocking out big welterweights (De La Hoya & Cotto). That doesn't necessarily mean he's cheating, but it raises eyebrows. Why do you think people started wondering about Barry Bonds? Why do people constantly question Lance Armstrong? When you completely dominate a sport, people are going to wonder. I don't see why that's so hard to understand. I'm not personally accusing Pacquaio and honestly don't think Pacquiao would cheat if he were in full control of what was going into his body during training, but I don't completely trust his corner.

Roach has admitted that Pacquaio doesn't even know what supplements they're giving him. We're living in the a new age where athletes in a variety of sports (track & field, cycling, baseball, football, etc.) have been busted for all sorts of PED's and steroids. I don't think it's that crazy to suspect that he might be taking something to enhance his performance. I also wouldn't be completely shocked if he was 100% clean as well.
His record of 7 titles will be erased sooner than you think. There's about 5-6 Championship titles in each division. IBF, WBO, WBA, WBA, Ring and lineal. It's getting ridiculous with all these belts in so many weightclasses. It will be easy to accomplish this is the near future.
I personally think that Pac's greater accomplishment...the one he will be remembered at will be his lineal titles (4).

Oscar has 6, Floyd has six.....even Camacho has 7 (including minor ones) SO are they taking Roids too?

Apparently, manny viewed what he stood to lose as being more important than $40 million dollars.
I would agree. Preaching to the choir

As I said before, we'll never know unless they they change the drug testing protocol for boxing and we get to see if he passes random blood testing, but my point is that it's not crazy to suspect the greats. Manny just happens to be the P4P champion right now and he's in the spotlight so it's not that crazy to suspect him.

At this point, Oscar doesn't really matter since he doesn't fight anymore and Floyd is willing to do random blood testing so I have a hard time believing he's not clean but anything is possible. The fact that Manny isn't willing to submit to a very reasonable 14 day proposal doesn't prove he's guilty, but it sure does make you wonder...

                Either,

                1) Manny has something to hide

                or

                2) His team never wanted the fight.

It's appalling at the number of lies and contradictions team pac has made throughout the whole ordeal.

I pick #2. Team Pac gave hints that they had little interest of fighting Floyd this soon.

The Mayweather fight is the fight the world wants to see,” Roach said. “It’s going to be the biggest pay-per-view fight of all time. But I think we will fight one fight before that.”

Roach said that Pacquiao’s schedule will be constructed around his political ambitions and the elections in the Philippines on May 10. “But there is a March date for him to fight,” Roach said. “People think I am crazy but I want him to win his eighth title against Yuri Foreman at 154lb. That’s my idea — then fight Mayweather in September. And then retire.”

The way Roach sees it, there will be no further blemishes on Pacquiao’s record by the time he greets retirement, although he does concede that Mayweather will be “the hardest fight of his life”.

“Mayweather’s a very difficult fight for Manny,” he said. “It won’t be physically the hardest, but it will be the hardest fight of his life style-wise. Mayweather is talented and he’s good at defence. I have a very good game plan for him, but I’m sure a lot of other guys thought that along the way.

“Maybe Manny won’t calm down after all this character assassination done by Golden Boy,” Arum said.

“Then I guess the solution is to move on and push the big fight into the fall.”
