Quintana. Get used to a southpaw just in case Manny mans up in the fall/winter. If not, then just fight Mosley and that will be the super fight. Pac can't make a bigger fight than May/Mosley. Unless he moves up to 160 to fight Pavlik...

Bradley by far. You have a guy in Floyd who has fought in 5 divisions and a guy in Pac who has fought in a million but Floyd cant make Bradley come up 1? Bradley starts 2 divisions higher than Floyd and outweighed him in the ring before Floyd's retirment but Floyd is picking on a smaller man? **** that.

I wouldve loved to see the Spinks fight a few years ago and I also think it would be very exciting just like Zab-Spinks was but I think Floyd eats his lunch now as Spinks has faded some. I think Floyd is at the level where he doesnt need specific tuneups anymore. By that I mean people say that he should pick a guy that fights like Mosley or fights like Pac but when you are at Floyd's level and at his age then that doesnt matter to you anymore. He has basically seen everything and there aint no one that really fights a ton like Pac or Shane anyways. He will be ready for the 2 of them when the time comes. This fight is moreso about getting in a good scrap to clear away all the rust.

Cintron may be a fight that I like in terms of someone being strong & physical. Floyd hasnt faced a guy like that in a long time and he's the only opponent that has been mentioned that can bring that. Thats my only worry for him right now against any opponent. He needs to fight a strong physical guy so that Shane & Pac wont be a shock to his system. The perfect fight for me would be Martinez and I think Floyd would light his ass up but I dont see that fight happening on short notice

I think Floyd will fight Mosley before Pacquiao so there is no point fighting a guy who Mosley has dominated before (Collazo) I would rather see him fight someone who has a title. If Floyd gets the IBF belt AND Mosley beats Berto then Mosley will have two belts (WBA/WBC) and Mayweather-Mosley will be bigger with 3 belts on the line.

I didnt mention Collazo. Thats a fight I would absolutely love to see but I just dont think it fits the bill for this date when Pac is fighitng at or around the same exact time

The Collazo fight was on short notice and he hurt his hand. I think he's better than youre giving him credit for, e****ally if Berto gives Shane hell. I also think both Floyd & Shane are way bigger than the belts at this stage of there careers

                Who cares about belts nowadays?

Beating a bum like Zaveck is pointless.

I think Floyd's next opponent will probably be a tough test for him. It has to be. Manny Pacquiao stepped up to the plate and is fighting a pretty solid Welterweight.

The perception that some people have of Pac-Clottey is that Pac could possibly lose, or at least get pushed very hard.

Mayweather has to fight a similar opponent that has the public feeling like he could possibly catch an L.

My three selections look like this:

                    1. Paul Williams - Paul Williams is known by all hardcore boxing fans. He's viewed as a genuine pound for pound level fighter. If Floyd can get him to come down to 147 then I think Floyd's perception might be that Paul will be weakened by the weight loss.

While I view Paul as a stone-cold assassin, I think Floyd can win this fight in the same fashion he did when he beat Diego "Chico" Corrales. This is, imo, the most logical fight for Team Floyd to make...

                    2. Miguel Cotto - Miguel is still viewed as a top tier Welterweight by most. Even though he's coming off the loss to Pacquiao, he's still viewed as a serious threat and ko puncher. This would also be a perfect way for Floyd to steal some of Pac's shine by beating Cotto in a more dominant fashion.

                    3. Julio C Chavez Jr. - Before you LYAO into a twilight zone-like coma at the thought of such a horrendous matchup, think of it from Team Floyd's standpoint. JC has a PPV worthy name, he's undefeated (we all know how much floyd likes to count his opponents' losses) and he's a naturally bigger fighter.

I think obviously Floyd would view this fight as winnable, but could somehow sell it to the public as a huge risk he's taking by fighting a big, undefeated, mexican star. lol!

Honorable Mention for a fight w/Floyd: Bernard Hopkins Hold up... ya'll don't think Bernard would come down to 155 for a 50-50 financial split with Floyd Mayweather?? I don't put anything past Bernard...

Quite pointless to mention Paul Williams or Top Rank fighters.

                      It wont happen.
