Being KO'd two times in a row puts a huge question mark around Hatton's future performance in any weight class in my opinion. There is the psychological factor that he has to deadl with when stepping back in the ring.

No, fuck YOU for supporting this ****. You're not truly a Khan fan if you do, because the fact that he (or Roach) is even considering dropping the belt to duck Maidana is utter tripe. Right now I don't care if it's other people telling him to do so - Khan should be his own man, and thus man up by fighting his mandatory.

When did i ever say i support Khan vacating his belt? all i said was there would be nothing wrong him fighting Hatton as it would make far more money. and has Khan even said he was gonig to vacate?? dont jump the gun until you get your facts right

And you're openly lending your support to that notion? Well fuck you again. That's just politics for cunts right there. It simply isn't the reason why most of us watch boxing - we shouldn't give a **** about money or the business side of it.

yes because theres only thing that counts in this life and thats money. boxing is a buisness, deal with it or choose another sport.

Just like Barrera was no risk at all, and look at how that fight was viewed. In hindsight I loathe the fact that he took that fight. So what kind of fan are you for wanting more flak thrown at him, from fighting a shot Hatton? Seriously, get a fucking grip on reality.

err over 20,000 people turned up to the fight, im pretty sure it was the highest Khan PPV. the fight with Hatton would generate over 1mil buys easily.

And anyone with a complete brain would skip it and take a better challenge - such as unification with Bradley, or the Alexander-Urango winner. Move up the hard way, instead of beating shot fighters, no matter how much the lure of money. Khan should take a tip from the likes of Bradley, if anything.[/QUOTE]

lol you really are living in a dream world. hey, maybe Mayweather should fight Mosley and PW next too?

Give Maidana some respect, what people are saying is that Khan should fight a tough boxer.

Give Khan some respect too. It's not too much to ask now, is it?

Khan gets blasted out by Prescott in 54 seconds.

Three fights later he is a world champion.

That takes tenacity at a high level.

People underrate Khan based on his supposed weak chin (I disagree, he got up twice against Prescott; he just had the wrong tactics).

Most people on here haven't even seen Khan fight.

People talk about Khan ducking challenges yet salivate over the prospect of Mayweather cherrypicking his opponents and hailing him as a boxing saviour?

khan is still very young , but he has too much buzz for not really proving himself in the sport. Not to discredit a couple of his wins over decent fighters, but after being KO'd like he was, he should have to beat a legit top guy to be getting the attention he is currently receiving. I do hope khan emerges as a top fighter in the sport. Beating hatton really does not prove anything now, though he would make some good money.

A Hatton Khan fight would be huge, imagine if Hatton beat JMM, and Khan beat Maidana, and fought each other at the end of 2010.....

Too much money for it not to happen in reality, regardless of results inbetween now and then

However, I don't blame him at the same time if he can get a good payday out of this but don't expect any accolades by beating Ricky Hatton at this stage of Hatton's career.

And when is he going to get back in the ring with Prescott? That's the fight I'd really like to see. Redeem yourself son.
same i want to see him rematch prescott, but i think he wants to fight hatton because before hatton got beat he was a pretty good fighter and wouldve been good for alot of boxers to have fighted him tbh
