I think Ruiz is done! He lost for the second time in his career to someone who started from the middleweight division. Although Toney isn't an easy fighter, Ruiz should have done more. Obviously he realises now that he's not the true heavyweight champion. Ruiz will be literally the quiet man right now!

“I only had 4 ½ weeks to prepare for this fight,” said Toney. “I do what I do – I didn’t expect much from John because he’s an average fighter. John Ruiz is ******. He can’t change his style. He only knows how to fight one way.”

People retire all the time in boxing. It doesn't mean much, especially the day after the fight. Mayorga retired, too, after the Tito fight in October...

Ruiz will be back. You wait and see. He'll become champion for a 3rd time and unify the division. It will take Lewis' return to stop his reign!

Originally posted by jayschreThat's exactly what I was gonna say, this Dan Raphael dude must be seriously ****ed up, even worse is the fact that in this article it actually said that ESPN.com scored the fight 115-113 for RUIZ! Jumpin Jesus on a pogo stick how in ****s name can anybody believe that John Ruiz won that fight. And we are supposed to believe this sports company is the worldwide leader in all things sport after they ****ed up the score of a clearly one-sided fight. Now I can see where the commissions are getting the bogus judges for fights nowadays referred by ESPN I'm sure.
....Dude, is that Ron Jeremy in that pic with you??
