How is it different? If you and I want to set up a fight we need to make sure that it is sanctioned by the ruling body who has jurisdiction of where the fight is going to be held. After that, it's just you and I negotiating what we want before the fight.

In Pac's case he wanted a change in the rules when it came to weight when he fought Cotto. They negotiated that issue and it was implimented into the contract.Floyd wanted a change in the drug testing policy but Pac disapproved and backed off. Something Cotto could've done with the Pac fight.

Naw it is different bro. One is geared specifically to gain an advantage(catch-weight at 2lb's under the limit for a title fight) and the other would not have any physical effect on either fighter(~5ml blood tests) so it is different.

magarito was and still is way too slow to ever beat mayweather. floyd didn't want to give bob any options on his next fight so turned margarito down. cotto had to give options to bob to fight pacquiao.

Yeah you're right. Now we see why Floyd never fights any Top Rank fighters. Arum has had a hard on for him ever since he left the company.

If Pacquaio dictates when the tests are going to be taken, they are not random.

A 14-day cutoff is more than fair, the Mayweather camp did everything they could to accommodate Pacquiao and still have the random blood tests that they wanted.

                  This looks bad for Manny.

Comparing weight issues with drug testing issues, especially in this case is really not a good comparison of anything. The only thing they have in common is that they were both brought in as part of the negotiations.

The proper way that this should have been implemented was through the NSAC. Period.
