-He called out Mosley. Even Schaeffer came out and said he, Mosley and DLH sat down to discuss it, and Mosley said he wanted to go on vacation rather than fight Floyd.

I read the article and where does it say that those statements have "proved to be false". They've been vehemently denied by team Pac, which is what they'd obviously do. As for the "reason the def. suit is going ahead"...it's only a portion of why it's going ahead. The entire list and PDF is posted everywhere, and outlines a number of grievences which would be ajudicated whether those two particular allegations were in it or not. I understand why Pac is suing, and I basically agree, but Tim Smith is a pretty damn reputable writer and long-time insider, and if he stands by his statement and source, this will throw a ton of su****ion Manny's direction.

As far as drug testing goes.

        You're comparing apples and oranges.

Cotto ducked floyd at 140, floyd ducked cotto at 147
Floyd ducked margarito to earn a lesser payday with sharmba mitchell
Floyd ducked pwill for 2 years before he even had a fight with de la hoya
shane mosley ducked floyd and now floyd is ducking him.
if pac fights clottey in replacement of floyd and floyd fight malignaggi or hatton then i would consider it an official duck by mayweather, not just duck pac, but every legit ww

thats not true. Floyd fought Baldomir for a "reported" 8 million instead of fighting Marg. I like Floyd as much as the next guy, but he clearly did duck Marg.

Mayweather-Pacquiao fell apart on Wednesday after the two camps could not agree on the cut-off date for random blood tests. After a nine-hour mediation on Tuesday in California, Pacquiao's camp proposed a cut-off period of 24-days before the fight, while Mayweather's camp wanted a cut-off of 14 days. I thought this was going to be an unbiased reporting of the things from the perspective of Mayweather's team -- until I read the last two paragraphs. The writer implied that it was Mayweather's team that leaked the story about Pac's team asking about the possiblity of a dirty drug test. Then he claimed that the negotiations were never the same after that, implying that Mayweather ruined the negotiations. This is another example of biased blogging from the writers of Boxing Scene. No matter what happens, they, like the haters on this site, will always find a way to take a cheap shot at Mayweather.

true but there is a good chance marg had loaded hands. It would have been a shame if he ruined floyd's career just like he did cotto. I am all for fighters fighting the best but that is one example where, looking back, I am glad the fight never happened.

Based on what I read at the time, Arum was demanding options on Mayweather if he got the fight against Margarito. No way Mayweather was going to agree to that after he managed to get out of his contract with Arum. Baldomir was the Ring champion at the time. In my opinion, you can't accuse someone of ducking a if they are fighting a better, higher rated opponent.
