  • Pac should just go for it IMO if PBF isnt his next opponent. Fight Foreman and then retire. Unless PBF wants some.

It was Oscar even before Pac came to the picture that he was going back down to 147. If you remember Oscar fought Forbes at a catch-weight of 150 before Pac. And, Oscar was making his move to 147. He wanted to fight Cotto at 147. So all that was Oscar not Pac.

Yes Pac fought Cotto 147. But, damn one catch-weight fight and from now on every fan wants to assume all his other fights will be catch-weights. Lets not for get that there are plenty of other fighters who fought catch-weight fights and did not fight catch-weight fights ever again. So why think Pac would start doing it in every fight now?
See thats not true at all it was Pac's team who requested and negotiated the catch weight for both the Dela Hoya and Cotto fights. The fight with Forbes was just a tune up fight and Oscar did the catch weight with Forbes as a way to gage where he was at in that 147 to 150 lb area because he knew he had to fight Pac at 147 or no fight at all.

That doesn't change the fact that Oscar was the one who requested 147, not Pacquiao.

Floyd is 5'8" with 72-75 reach, Corrales is 6ft with the same reach, while Manny is only 5'6.5" with 67 reach and Yuri is 5'11" with 72-75 reach. I guess if u do the math between the two match-up you will see which one is in a disadvantage more..

Again that is not true at all. It was Oscar who said 147. Oscar fought Forbes at a catch-weight of 150 as a tune up to a rematch with Floyd. Remember they had an agreement to fight again in September of that year. But, then Floyd retired because he was not happy with what he was getting paid. After the Forbes fight Oscar said he would fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito. But, he was hoping that Cotto would of won. When Margarito won he then turned his attention to Pac. Pac team never requested the weight didn't even call out Oscar. It was all oscar idea. There was already talks of Oscar going down to 147 before Pac. He called out Pac and Oscar said 147. Not Pacquiao, I really do not know where you got that from...

Top Rank promotes both fighters and offered Foreman as a replacement for Floyd Mayweather Jr. The people who thought it would never happen said Foreman was just too big for Pacquiao, who fought Miguel Cotto last November at a catch-weight of 145-pounds.

Pacquiao has already proven many things against all odds & rewrites history...Even how great Pacquiao is, he's still human it's very difficult to deal Foreman's huge advantages in terms of height, reach & size, it's realistic to reject such fight...Moseley is the best option & the last great elite champion left that make sense to fight Pac...And then maybe retire w/ nothing left to prove...

If Mayweather wants to regain his image & erase such doubt as a coward, he better fight Moseley or Foreman or other bigger legitimate elite champions to make an impact, then retire...If and only if he overcomes his fear of losing...

Ocar initially wanted to fight hatton but hatton turned him down. Oscar is already setting himself up for a 147lbs fight even before manny came into the picture, manny is a replacement actually..

Corrales was a lightweight as mayweather.

Pacquiao is a recent blown featherweight,Foreman is a true 154 pounders.
