Fighting Foreman wouldn't mean much in terms of legacy.

Best move Pac has made so far because if he did fight Yuri i guarantee Pac would have knocked him out if on peds and lets see him and top rank try to explain that one to even the rational folks.

Foreman is a big dude bro. And, he weighs close to 170 during fight night. He would have a huge size advantage over. And, then you have to bring his style into play also. Foreman is OK with stinking out the joint. He would use the whole ring. That is his style is to use the ring. Something that Pac is not use to. So you add that style that Pac is not use to plus you add the size plus going up in a new weight=very risky fight.

Maybe but i still see a winnable fight for manny in that one, Manny has to be prepare to chase people, He cant just hope to have all his opponent in front of him not moving, He has to fight a mover one day.

Smart Move..Yuri Is Way Too Big And Too Tall...

...And probably one of the smartest boxer around. If some people think that Pac is coward for not fighting Yuri, then they really should have their head checked. A lot of people doesn't really understand the concept of boxing, Pac is a actually one of them but at least he is winning.
Pac should fight Mosley then/or Berto this summer but he should consider Bradley as a tune-up fight in March. He can clean-up the Jr WW and WW divisions, it will be more winnable than jumping to Jr MW and face the Big Boys.

Yes he has to fight a different style. If Foreman was a WW. I would think is an easy fight. But, damn I think him fighting a new style, with a huge size disadvantage, at a new weight is asking for a lot IMO.

I see your points which are good but i think those are just selling points to gain interest in the fight. First of all they would have fought at a catch weight and Yuri is nowhere in Pac's league. Remember Floy'd beat Oscar 154 even though that version of dela hoya is not as good as Yuri right now but you get the drift. Height had nothing to do with Pac's decision for not taking that fight don't buy it for one minute. Pac would have beaten him.

Nothing in terms of the negotiations were ever mentioned to be honest, it was just the possiblity that Pac would fight Yuri. But do you really believe that they ask Cotto and Dela Hoya smaller men to fight Pac at a catch weight at 145 and 147 respectively and they wouldn't with Yuri at 154 who would then hydrate up to 170 by fight night.
