So what is it? Do you like Pac vs. Yuri or you don't. If you don't like it, don't cry ducking. At least Pac was honest enough to site his reasons why he will not fight an opponent....a valid reason. Not like "I'm not gonna fight Mosley coz he's on steroids and has 5 losses. A lot of you dudes are entertaining. Does it even matter why one fighter refuses to fight another?? He's too tall..he's got a few losses..he doesn't generate enough interest or income..it's all the same bs so why are some people tryna defend pac while they 'tear down" mayweather?? In terms of the TRUE all time greats like ali, hagler, leonard, duran, holyfield, whittaker or going back even further to ray robinson's time..Nobody ducked nobody REGARDLESS OF THE REASON. IMO..neither manny nor floyd deserves to be billed as p4p best (hell, Im not sure if any current fighter does) b/c EVERYBODY handpicks their opp's nowadays (so dont get it f!cked up). Didnt freddie roach comment publicly that the fighter he trained (oscar) didnt have it anymore..could no longer "pull the trigger" so why fight him @ a depleted 147 if not solely for the payday. Lastly, cotto who once again was deemed damaged goods by roach after taking beatings from margarito & clottey. Face it..cotto at this pt in his career is more vargas than chavez sr. He's clearly not the same fighter he was 2..3 yrs ago. People wanna say floyd "ducked" cotto & mosely but I distinctly recall either the fighters themselves or their camps not wanting to face floyd jr at that particular time. Hell, shane stated publicly on hbo that he wanted to spend time w/ his fam & fix a chipped tooth instead of fighting mayweather. Are you mofos idiots or what. Team cotto said miguel wasnt ready to fight mayweather back when he was making his bones @ 140 so how the hell is he ducking them. Everybody has an agenda (even pac-man). At least Pacquiao is man enough to admit when he does'nt match up well with someone. Unlike Floyd who would just say that he would beat anyone so why fight anyone.

If this was Mayweather it would be considered "ducking". Pac would have destroyed him anyway. He's not on the level to compete.

Because Pacquiao is being a real man about the situation. Instead of claiming that he Yuri sucks and that nobody know's who he is or that he's easy so why fight him. Instead he's just being truthful and saying Foreman might just be a little too much. None of these other fighters have the balls to admit that someone might beat them.

Nothing in terms of the negotiations were ever mentioned to be honest, it was just the possiblity that Pac would fight Yuri. But do you really believe that they ask Cotto and Dela Hoya smaller men to fight Pac at a catch weight at 145 and 147 respectively and they wouldn't with Yuri at 154 who would then hydrate up to 170 by fight night.

See here is my thing and I hate when people use this damn comparison. Not once did Pac asked Oscar to fight him at 147. That was Oscar who came up with that. It was Oscar even before Pac came to the picture that he was going back down to 147. If you remember Oscar fought Forbes at a catch-weight of 150 before Pac. And, Oscar was making his move to 147. He wanted to fight Cotto at 147. So all that was Oscar not Pac.

Yes Pac fought Cotto 147. But, damn one catch-weight fight and from now on every fan wants to assume all his other fights will be catch-weights. Lets not for get that there are plenty of other fighters who fought catch-weight fights and did not fight catch-weight fights ever again. So why think Pac would start doing it in every fight now?

If I was Pac I'd make Foreman fight at a catch-height. 5'7" sounds fair.

I think Pac could beat a 5ft11 guy. DLH was 5ft10.
Pac isnt going to have many more fights, so maybe should go for it. But if he does lose he dont want to get too busted up for a potential Floyd fight.
Foreman is better than Corrales though.

I actually thought that Foreman due to height and reach would give pac some trouble and he has a good chin. But i thought pac could have won by UD due to activity and just outworking foreman.

I think a fight with Bradley or Maidana is the best option for pac.
