Margarito has the best resume and longevity by a long shot. The only controversial decision he had was a fight against Williams which could have went either way. He has fought every top fighter in the welterweight division except for Judah who ducked him twice and Mayweather who did the same.

Although not very popular at the moment he's clearly the most accomplished welterweight like him or hate him.

the guy was ONLY a top 10 fighter since 2001.

he was only the #1 ranked fighter for 4 years. no biggie.

who cares if cotto and mayweather didn't show up to 147 'til halfway through the decade?

who cares if mosley moved out of 147 at the beginning of the decade and didn't move back 'til only a few years ago?
