I voted Mayweather. VERY difficult question to answer. The welterweight class was definitely the most elite weight class for the past decade.

What other weight classes were particularly strong? I think Middleweight & Super-middleweight.

Cotto fought the toughest fights and fighters in that decade. it's hard to consider Mayweather cause he wasn't fighting that long, about a year at ww before he moved on to fight DLH at 154 and back down to fight Hatton before retiring, wouldn't consider Marquez cause it was at a catch weight. He fought Mitchell, then the title holders in Judah and Baldomir, then Hatton.
