    READING AND COMPREHENSION.

    Schaefer

"Now that I've learned more about this, boxing now will have an outspoken advocate for blood testing in the sport," Schaefer said. "I plan to ask Nevada to have Travis Tygart explain why blood tests are necessary. This is not about hitting a baseball, throwing a football or hitting a puck. This is a sport that's mano-a-mano, with guys hitting each other's heads. It's important that the strongest testing possible is in place."

    Kizer

GL: As of now have any petitions been filed?

    KK: "No."

Duh, Pacquiao didn't REFUSE anything, they gave a counter offer, but Schaefer bitched out at filing a petition.

Specifically, can you tell us what this counteroffer was? An (official) link if you could.

The Nevada Commission uses urinalysis testing before and after fights to detect illegal and performance-enhancing drugs, but other than requiring bloodwork to earn a one-year license, the NSAC has never used blood-testing to determine drug use, the organization's executive director, Keith Kizer, said on Saturday.

"We are prepared to advise the Nevada Athletic Commission that we only want them involved, and that Manny will take a random urinalysis test at any time on any date as long as it was ordered by the Nevada State Athletic Commission," Arum told FanHouse, saying that Monday is his deadline for finalizing the matchup before moving on to other options for the 31-year-old Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 knockouts).

"No. 2, we would agree to take the blood test in January within 30 days of the fight and any other random blood tests that the Nevada State Athletic Commission elected to do without a timeline," said Arum. "We're so confident that the Nevada Commission would do the right thing that we don't have to put a timeline in there."

He refused the Olympic style testing, the Pacquiao offer has been the same from the start, no blood tests 30 days before the fight.

Arum knows that NSAC won't do the blood tests.

                    'regular inferior piss test'???
did you make this up all by your self???

The urine test is FAR and I cant state this enough FAR superior to a blood test for detecting ped's...the only thing which the regular urine test cant detect is HGH and HGH is useless to a boxer....
there are urine test's that can detect HGH but in order for HGH to be effective you would need to be taking some sort of ped's,HGH is for muscle recovery and benifits athlete's like basketball or baseball players that play season's....
While I would rather random urine samples in training,at least it was random...
Hopefully the fight gets announced and they agree that random urine test's is far more efficent anyway, mayweather knows this and is doing this to get a mental edge....
Please go ask a doctor or someone who has been involved in anti-doping about which test is better for detecting ped's and get bk to me.....
Can your Hematocrit be tested in the urine too?

"We have things in place to do the urine tests, and we could do one every day until the day of the fight if they wanted to. But blood-testing is nothing we do," said Kizer. "So I doubt that it's something that we would do. But again, that would have to be something that the commission would have to look at."
