well for a start, you must time it, when you see a punch coming, when its direction is coming to your face make sure your face is aligned at that direction then move your face towards it the faster the speed the more the impact the more harder the punch you get.

btw, whyd you want to get a harder more powerful punch? why not learn how to throw harder more powerful punch instead, are you a masochist?

Good biomechanics utilizing the "the threading of pearls" (tai chi term) from the ground to the feet, to the legs, to the knees, to the hips (turning), to the back of the spine, to the shoulders, to the arms and eventually to the fist.

          Timing, and efficient biomechanics.

And those are just the physical tweakings, the other is the mind. Practice "explosions" in an instant. Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do does this kind of drilling (mental and physical).

Start slow, then "internalize" the techniques while relaxing the mind and body.

              Conditioning wise:

Do some deep 20 rep squats fast as you can. This will add leg strength (quads, glutes and hamstrings if you go deep) and build core strength.

Also and some plyometric which help build explosive power.

Also but not for beginners power cleans and snatches are awesome for explosive power. But they require very good technique and a well conditioned body.

              Technique wise I wouldn't know.
