Mayweather would DOMINATE Sergio Martinez.

Mayweather walks backwards trying to lure Martinez into walking into a straight right. This works once or twice until Martinez adjusts and counters with a right uppercut as Floyd leans over after throwing the right to avoid punches.

Floyd tries the leaping left hook but again, I think Martinez counters with his own right hook while leaning to the left; Martinez adjusts well in the ring to what the opponent does. He will use his reach advantage to keep Mayweather from being effective and eventually be able to time Mayweather as he attempts to jump in to strike.

Mayweather is not a pressure fighter and will not work Martinez like Williams did. Martinez ties up on the inside in case Mayweather tries to bring it there but it will be a distance chess match. A few flush hits and Mayweather goes to the canvas- Martinez hits harder than anyone he would have ever faced.

My analysis- slow fight with Martinez winning and possibly dropping Mayweather once.

To be honest if people don't want to fight you for some reason (wink, wink), then how do you fight the top guys?

Is he as fast as Floyd, no, but he can box, and Floyd will have to get inside his reach. It's also pretty ludicrous to suggest Sergio would fight Floyd in the same manner he fought Williams.

Martinez by UD or late KO. Floyd's been showing a pretty good chin, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt in that area. It isn't out of the question that Sergio could score a clean, early KO based on the size difference.
How did he fight Oscar..who also had the same advantages...and Oscar hits harder then sergio and will be heavier...FLOYD BOXED HIS OFF HIS SHOULDERS.

Martinez is soooooooooo easy to hit...its easy to doge Williams and Cintrons Punches..try dropping ur hands and dodging Floyds....his eyes will be purple in no time.

Floyd doesnt have to get inside his reach....HE DOESNT HAVE A GOOD JAB....its not fast and its not strong.

Mayweather would time him and punish him..Martinez NEVER BEAT anyone in his whole career with a fifth of the talent Floyd has..GET REAL.

Floyd 9 Rounds to 3..and Im being nice.

Mayweather would beat him from he outside...Martinez doesn't fight like Wlad Klit......

This is a silly comparison. Martinez is sharper than a shot DLH.

Hes a 35 year old fighter..with good hand speed..no defense..and fights with his hands at his waist.

Mayweather would turn his face to a speed bag if he tried that ****.
Are you talking about in a P4P sense? Or straight up at 154? What makes you think Floyd could do that to Martinez at 154? You think he is that good cuz he beat an old ass Oscar at 154? I mean if you are talking about in a P4P sense then OK I agree. But, if you are Talking about straight up 154. I don't see how you might think Mayweather will turn Sergio face into a speed since he didn't do that to an old ass Oscar... But, yet he will do that to Sergio? OK... I heard enough. I am done hear...

Did Oscar look shot to you against Floyd???

That Oscar would've beat the **** out of anybody that night...he was on point, strong and focused.

I didnt compare them,...Im just saying size wise......but Oscar is bigger.

Martinez being sharper then Oscar means nothing....Floyd is sharper and faster and more skilled, talented and a whole lot harder to hit and a whole lot more accurate then Martinez AND Williams.

                See what I did there.

He fought Oscar DEFENSIVELY.........and Oscar had his HANDS covering his face.

Sergio has his HANDS at his waist......and hes very easy to hit.

Martinez does not have the skills, talent or footspeed to doge Floyds punches with his hands at his waist....

Mayweather is light years faster then anyone hes EVER fought.

Mayweather would pot shot him.....and when he puts his hands at his waist...Floyd will shoot str8 rights until Sergios head is spinning....

You dont fight the most accurate fighter since Compubox was invented with your hands at your waist....

                  LMAO.

No he does not... WTF are you talking about? Again are you talking about P4P sense or at 154? P4P yes Oscar hits harder. But, at 154 no he does not. Martinez has the power over him, Martinez is also faster, this version of Martionez had more skills than that version of Oscar, had better reflexes better agility, quicker feet, is fresher, more ability, and then to top it off Martinez is a southpaw you can not really compare the two...

I swear that version of Oscar is so damn overrated. Is crazy how people think he was still the same Oscar of the 90's. GTFOH with that ****... they forget that Ivan Calderon was boxing his ears off in sparring... Like really Calderon was embarrassing this guy cuz he didn't have it anymore. But, people make it out to seem like he still was a top fighter. No he was just a name that was all he was. He was not even full time fighter anymore. He was part time fighter full time promoter. He was not fighting to prove greatness. He was fighting for his company and checks. The hunger was gone by then. Why act like he was still good?

He always fights defensively that won't change against Martinez. And, Martinez will have better reflexes than old ass semi retired Oscar...
