I have a high def and watched it in high def. Saw the fight again in high def. Calzaghe still beat your god.

I scored the fight 115-112 for Calzaghe the first and only time I watched the fight. I summed up each round with a pen and paper, and posted it in a thread on this forum.

Thing is, I remember that was constantly thrown in B-Hop fan's faces. I thought that was nothing to be ashamed about since Bernard Hopkins is damn old. I credited that, I mean...smart move
Yup. One of the best performances of an old fighter taking on a top star while being physically inferior on the conditioning front. Only reason Hopkins lost was because he didn't have it in the tank to keep up. He did everything he could to keep it at the old man pace after he was starting to get really tired in the 6th.

This fight is a great example of pure offense meeting pure defense. You think you'll come away with an answer on which style is better... but leave with more questions.

Calzaghes work rate was much lower there than in any other of his recent fights. Either man could have won, but if you judge one soley punches thrown even if they don't land thenyou have a point.

I thought Calzaghe won. THere were just too many rounds in which Hopkins didn't do enough for me to give him the fight.

Hopkins is one of the worst fighters to watch in decades. He LOST, period, and I'm glad, and I don't even like Calzaghe.

Maybe if Hopkins stopped holding, headbutting, etc, he might beat someone other than a middleweight.

The **** someone watched it more then once ?

Calzaghe clearly won only Bhop stans think otherwise guys Street Bully acts like those 5 punches Bhop threw every round had Calzaghe stumbling around like a drunk..

Bhop plain spoiled the fight and faked a low blow.. disgraceful he did well to redeem himself vs Pavlik, thing is after he says to Larry Merchant, thats how he wants to fight. If he fought like that vs Calzaghe he gets beaten Wide UD, he did well all be it in a very very boring way to keep the fight close.

I don't know why fighters like him and Dirrel get props for performances like that though? i saw some people (bhop fans) claiming that Dirrel's performance vs Froch proved his is Championship material.. by what fighting like a ****ing girl and dropping to his knees when ever it looked like Froch might hit him??
