If course the jab is going to be thrown in a 12 round fight. To clarify, I didn't see him use the jab like a tall fighter should. Williams does have a pretty good jab when he uses it, especially because his reach is ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong with all the arguing against Williams. I like him a lot because he fights for the fans.

The thing in the sergio fight...Sergio was slipping some of those because thats his style against Mosley those land at a higher connect percentage.

If Shane tries to go inside and throw those body shots he will be uppercutted and put on his butt. Thats Pauls favorite punch....when you sell out to the body like Mosley did aginst Marg you leave ur self open for it.

Bingo. Martinez and Quintana are slick southpaws, but they have no body punching ability to speak of. Shane Mosley has that in abundance and Williams is vulnerable for that as we saw against Margarito. And it's not like Mosley won't ever get inside because Williams doesn't fight tall like a Vernon Forrest and he doesn't keep his elbows tucked in like Winky Wright does. People need to analyze the styles of these fighters before they say that Mosley gets totally battered.

Another thing about Quintana and Martinez too, is they are pot shot type fighters who don't really punch in combinations. Mosley is a superb combination puncher at least when he puts his mind to it.

I agree, Mosley had a lot of solid body work at 130 and early at 147. Shane isn't as intelligent as Mayweather in the ring, but with the right game plan he has a good chance.

This fight would be at 154 Pounds.....

Williams said hes only coming down to fight Floyd and Pac...and they would never fight him.

At 154 after watching the Mayorga fight.....I give Shane no chance in hell..

Even at 147....NO 40 year old can keep up with Pauls workrate.

Paul took flush bombs from a 163 Pound Martinez.....his chin is good.

Mosley is strong as hell though, who is too say he won't smother Williams on the inside. Margarito also has a very good uppercut, but Shane didn't allow him to get off.

Your logic is flawed because Margarito has a better uppercut than Paul Williams does and Mosley didn't get hit with it while he was hammering his body. I know Williams beat Margarito, but the uppercut is something that Margarito used to his success against Williams. Mosley isn't no Cotto and he doesn't get hit with that punch that much.

I wasnt one of them..I predicted the Mosley-Marg fight almost to the exact round of the stoppage....Margarito is too slow..with no jab...or boxing ability.

Margarito did have boxing ability, it might not be really high, but at one point he was a decent boxer. The weight between Shane and Williams will be about the same 160-165 or so.
