Little Floyd, Big Floyd and Roger may talk alot of ****.......but its all a mental game.....they are def not taking Pac lightly....they don't take any fighter lightly......and don't believe that **** about them not watching fight tapes either.

Some people may call big Floyd a crackhead. I don't know if that's true or ever was....but the fact remains he is a very good trainer. So is Roger.

Floyd came back to fight pacquiao..

Larry is just being Larry.. He has always hated on Mayweather, as he does on most black fighters.. He is drunk half the time, doesnt really appreciate technical skills, he just wants to see knockouts and brain damaged boxers.. No one should be surprised by his comments, he loves him some manny pacquiao he basically sucks him off everytime he fights

Wait you and Amadla Ngawethu are the same person? Because that is who I was talking about.

And, I agree with everything you said about in the second paragraph. I have been saying that for awhile now...

Mayweathers strategy for this fight will be keep his lead foot on the outside of Pacs lead foot and constantly be moving away from Pac's straight left. Should Pac throw a right hook to move Mayweather in the other direction....Floyd will shoot a straight right followed by a left hook. He will prob do that anyway. That is how you fight a southpaw....str8 right lead followed with left hook. Its also better if u can beat the fighter to the punch. See the Judah fight. Ledermans comments were **** on. "The guy gettin off first is landing the better punches"

Now that is the reason Roach is worried about this fight. Conventionally you should not throw a straight right lead against another orthodox stance fighter. Floyd does it and gets away with it all the time. So if he can use it successfully when "conventional" wisdom says not too.....he sure as **** can use it when the conventional wisdom says YES.

Lets be clear here.....Pacs best chance is in the first 3 rds. A southpaw has an advantage in the first 3 or 4 rds of a fight because they are accustomed to fighting orthodox fighters (right handed), whereas most orthodox guys rarely fight lefties. This is why Mayweather had trouble early on against Judah and Corley...but once he figured them out and adjusted he began to break them down.

The reason Pac has gotten better is because Roach has taught him how to throw that right hook as an offensive weapon in its own right and to set up the straight left. As a southpaw having a right hook will make you a much better fighter. A more complete fighter......for further proof see martinez. He is a good southpaw because he has alot of tools/punches in his repertoire.....ie. see the right hook that floored williams.

I see this fight unravelling only 2 ways:

              1. Floyd has trouble with Manny early and maybe gets caught cold and goes down and dosen't make it up OR loses a decision by the time he figures out how to go about his business.

              2. Floyd has trouble with Manny early and gets caught a few times...but manages to see everything coming and takes the heat off and is never really in danger. Manny wins 3 of the first 4 rounds. Floyd starts making the necessary adjustements in timing and punches that work.....he keeps moving and poitshotting 1 or 2 shots at a time....frustrating Manny and weating him down to a UD....winning 7 or 8 out of 12 rds. Maybe if he catches Manny with a str8 right to the chin with soime heat an Manny does not see he will put him down in the fight.
              very interesting insight

i miss reading this kind of comments. they don't come very often now after the steroid accusations and blood fiasco came about

              thanks for the post!

Good analysis bro. Wish there were more like these. I really need to get a better grasp of foot positioning ...
