Brook? Has Pacquiao "The Destroyer" running in fear?...Really...you think so? They are very different fighters but,...Pacquiao will do to Brook what he did to Hatton. To me, a Foreman fight bears very little significance. Manny hasn't even cleaned out lower weight classes (135/140/147). So going after the least prominent fighter at 154 isn't an MO for an ATG. It's cherry picking, plain and simple. Boxing does not need this. I'm a Manny fan but I call it as I see it.

In fact, if the fight goes through, I feel it'll hurt his legacy by diluting his resume, even if it's justified as a junket after going through a war with Cotto. There are so many compelling match ups without going to JMW.

He gets props for targeting a bigger fighter, certainly, but all I'm saying is that by choosing Foreman, he's avoiding tougher challenges like Spinks or Martinez, especially the latter.

If Brook wasn't to walk into a whirling buzz-saw (Pacquiao); then by all means Earl-Hickey, let him...you say that Brook's is a rookie with 20 pro fights...do you think that's enough experience to fight Pacquiao? If it is, then let him...he'll get the experience of a lifetime.

Funny you should say that, because you're using the same logic that Mayweather fans were using not too long ago.

Baldomir was defended as an opponent for the same reason that Foreman is now being defended as an opponent: size rather than quality.

Who cares if the guy is bigger? If he's not that good, then he's not that good.
