Comments Thread For: Jose Luis Castillo Says 2010 Will Be His Year

Former two-time lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo says 2010 will be his year to win a world title at junior welterweight. He's been fighting at welterweight in a few of his last fights. Castillo says lightweight will be impossible to get down to but he thinks he can make 140 and still be a force. [Click Here To Read More]

JLC is done, he doesn't deserve that kind of punishment. Then again, Cotto needs an opponent to build his confidence against.

Castillo will be a good name for Cotto and an Arum move for sure, especially since he trained a lil with Roach and maybe has that contact now.

            Roach wouldn't mind trainin him.

Castillo has like 10 brothers or something and looks after tham so he needs a good payday.

Its a little too late, I mean he lost to Lujan who is a good fighter but not what I would consider world class....also keeping in mind that JLC was at 154 at his age I doubt he can't get back down to a better weight for him but who knows.
